  • "Honda's Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) makes highway cruising easy-just set the desired cruise speed and following interval, and ACC contributes to an easier and more enjoyable drive. The Low-Speed Follow feature even brakes for you when a vehicle detected ahead slows to a stop! Here’s how to use this great feature.

I have a 2020 CR-V with this (I think it was a standard feature but IDK), this and the lane assist thing that helps keep the car centered in the lane. Only thing that annoyed me about it is it sometimes will apply the brakes and slow down quite a bit if I'm passing by a car that is in the turning lane. Figured out I can just press on the gas pedal lightly when approaching a situation like that and it will stop the car from doing that and go back to ACC after removing your foot from the pedal.

It's just the way it's programmed. Ford vehcicles with this same type of feature work the exact same way. Can't change that setting. I have a 2020 CR-V with this. And yeah when using this if I come to a complete stop at say a red light, after about 3 seconds the feature (forgot the name) that turns the engine off when stopped engages, and when the car in front starts moving again I have to hit the resume button, you can also just press slightly on the gas pedal and it will resume to the speed you had it set at.

@@sean8102 I have seen in Kia or Hyundai with auto start behaviour,to be honest more convenient. Other than that I am very happy with my crv.

If you mean to switch it to regular cruise control yeah. If you mean to turn off the whole thing while its on I just tap the brake. Also on my 2020 CR-V this system sometimes will slow the car down if I'm driving by someone in the turning lane. But I found out I can stop it from doing that by just pressing lightly on the gas pedal when approaching a car in the turning lane.
