🥰
Great video, nice fruits
Thanks! They’re delicious!
quality video as always, how could some one dislike it..
Thank you! I think I have an x or someone ‘trying’ to sabotage. RUclips doesn’t care. Ha. Engagement is engagement! 🙂
We have this white sapote, yes the ripe fruit falls off the tree and turns in a mush. They like water because it is tropical tree, don't eat too much because you will get lethargy and lowers blood pressure if the leaves are made into a tea, taken opposite of you medication.
The fruit is called the sleep sapote the leaves are made into tea for arthritis
It is likely a Subelle.
I heard if it gets overripe on the tree this fruit gets an unpleasant off-flavor. Did you try to pick them at an earlier stage of maturity to let them ripe on the table top?
My white sapote tree after at least 6 years planted in the ground hasn't bear fruit yet. Actually it didn't even really bloom either! Last year a few flowers appeared, but this year for the first time at last it got a decent number of flower panicles, so I hope I'll get my first fruits this year...
I tried to let them tree ripen for maximum flavor and nutrients. Hadn’t tried them overripe, but I get that from having overripe anona fruits in the past. I was lucky, this tree’s been flawless and effortless putting out fruit. Did you start yours from seed? Unfortunately, it was just flowering before a cold snap down to 12 degrees a few weeks back. Flowers are toast, crossing my fingers that it’ll bounce back. I sprouted some trees from the seeds on last year’s fruit at least...
@@eljardinperdido This fruit is supposed to have a delicate flavor, so that "peppery taste" and that not that appealing and unusual description of the taste of this fruit that you made sounds surprising to me. That's why I thought that you might have left them to ripen on the tree for too long.
My tree is grafted and I've no idea why it took so long to bloom! It looks healthy, is growing well...it just took its time to bloom!
Thanks for your answer!
Với nhiệt độ là 30 độ thì nó có trái không bạn
Yes, but it doesn’t like temperatures below 30. Similar to citrus. Needs warm weather to thrive.
Thank you
Honestly the fruit looks like Ross Sapote which is a canistel more than a sapote.
Interesting. Didn’t taste like canistel tho…
Sapote cobbler? That'd be cool
No extra sugar needed.
Are the roots on the white sopate invasive??
Most white sapote are on osage orange. No, the roots do not tend to have runners or anything that i've experienced.
just harvested one out the house
Let my fruit ripe and become soft on a table top, then keep in freezer it. scope out to eat like ice cream.
I’ll have to try that!
Where did you get it from?
JRN nursery a few years back. Not always in stock
@eljardinperdido they have it now I'm thinking bout buying one thanks for the info brother can you do a video on how your tropical trees did after the freeze
@@JoseGonzales-ul9sv Hard freeze killed that one a few years ago. This time I dug it up. Also, my friend gifted me another I have in my greenhouse. Both did fine. They're good above 34. After that, I would protect heavily!
You put me off buying a white sapote tree 😂
Really? It’s a different taste, but I’ve grown to love it!
In what agricultural growing zone do you live? (I am in 8.)
I am 9a.
8b zone here in Oregon i grew 2 from seed. there a year old at present , just moved from garage window to greenhouse in may.
*Your fruit is over ripe.* This type of fruit taste bad if picked under ripe or over ripe.
If you pick it just just under ripe it can be left on the counter to ripen to full flavour without bitterness.
Thanks for the tip!
I like them better than mangoes
Cute girl
