The response Zach gave was obviously not what you want to hear. Zach has very poor fundamentals when throwing the ball but it can be corrected. Kurt Warner's breakdown of his throws in that last game show examples of his errors but it also shows poorly schemed play design to help a quarterback being rushed. There are so many issues and Kurt really shows it without the overreaction.

That is problem with hiring a defensive minded HC. Unless you hire an adequate OC, you can never win. Last weeks game the case in point. With an offensive minded HC, you can outscore your opponent. Even hiring an adequate DC does wonders. Two teams that have turned it around are Giants with Dabol and Dolphins with Mc Daniel. Even the Dolphins went nowhere with Flores and his top Defensive & takeaway team. In order to win SB, you must have a good OC / DC partner. Such as the Bucs with Arians and Bowles. Now even Bucs are struggling with only Bowles.

I went to BYU late 70s. I think NFL teams should be very circumspect when drafting BYU talent. Sure there have been some great players from BYU in the pros. But more often than not, especially the QBs, they turn out to be not as good as advertised. For one thing, the level of talent BYU played against leaves a lot to be desired. Next year they go to the Big 12 conference. That will tell you how good the talent is. As for Zach, frankly I had my doubts. Young Mormon kid in the big city full of temptations.
