I think it’s very funny how hog is okay now because you don’t need kill potential as tank anymore, you just have to stand there and not die
OW dev team is panicking right now as the meta levels out and hog requires less of a rework.
I mean. That SHOULD be a ranks role. Lmao tbf. Tanks should…tank damage. Minimum damage. Not as much as a DPS but more than a support. Supports should also have slightly increased HP to discourage diving unless it’s coordinated and should have hardly any damage.
Just my opinion. Been playing MOBA style games for my entire life. Overwatch needs to look at other MOBAs and how they approach the tank and support roles
@kadeelove2267 horrendous take. ow isn't a moba its a hero shooter. tanks aren't meant to tank damage they are meant to create space but they can't make space if they arent threatening, this has always been the design philosophy of ow. And increasing supports hp? what on earth are you sniffing?

Also. Yes. Increase support HP and heavily decrease their damage. Keep the healing. Increase tank HP or add CC immunity to tanks and slightly lower their damage. they should do more than the supports but less than DPS. Make the DPS role mean what it stands for. These aren’t the only changes I think would be needed. But it’s the thing OW has been missing in terms of balance. support passive shouldn’t be as strong as it is. Which we will prolly see be nerfed. However without the increase in HP, we will circle back to the same problem we had before. Supports not being able to survive thus your team cannot survive.
The ? is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be tilting.

The problem is, 85% of the time, the toxic people win, validating their toxicity in their eyes. Glad you and your support managed to put them in their place. The other problem is if they lose, they act like nothing was out of the ordinary, but we know you got them feeling some sort of way.

Flats after this many years starting to hate overwatch for the same reasons people WONT play overwatch. Like I almost killed them but their health bar just shot back up, what's the point? From an objective standpoint I think this is ONE of the best metal we've experienced in terms of concept and balance. My personal opinion on the other hand is, play to have fun "Tank useless, have no fun, cry"

not hating but just want to point a couple things out:
- you said "dude question marks acting like he wouldn't have died if his supports didn't save him there" and then later in the game did the exact same thing back to him when you clearly would have died without Lifeweaver saving you.
- you also called him out for solo ulting when you solo ult'd him earlier in the game (when he got saved by his supports)
why's it so bad when other people do these things but okay for you to do it? as somebody who doesn't watch you that often, it really seems like you're the one with the ego, the only difference is you have the skills to back it up unlike the other tank.
For the first point I think it was just to tilt him by doing the same thing he did to him, since there was no reason to question mark him in the first place
