    At 6:30 in the video he mentioned seeing a tear in the drivers side motor mount bushing but I think that is just the residue of the original injection mold - that gap / tear is actually supposed to be there.
    I just bought 2x new mounts for my Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ 5.2L and you can see & feel the thin layer from the injection mold that is eventually going to fall off or tear, split - you can push your finger through it. I thought my old engine mounts were damaged as when I looked at them I could see this tear as well and it wasn't until I got the new ones I realized that gap / tear is supposed to be there.
    I also want to mention how good this video is and all the videos from BARRICADE and has helped me with my jeep repairs - Thank you.

    • @gvincent9231
      @gvincent9231 2 года назад

      I have 94 Grand Cherokee, 5.2L ZJ
      DRIVERS SIDE TOWARDS FRONT bolt sizes are (2) 7/16-14 x 1.625" Bolts with washers’ thread into the welded nuts on the motor mount itself on the front side
      DRIVERS SIDE TOWARDS REAR bolt sizes are (2) 7/16-14 x 1.625" bolts, with washers, screw into 7/16-14 nuts (no washers on the nuts but I would probably add washers if replaced) on the back side.
      The PASSENGER SIDE bolt sizes = (2) Bolts 7/16-14 x 1.875, with washers, screw into (2) Flange Nuts on front side. Recommend Grade 8.
      The CENTER bolts are listed as OEM 3420 2606 BOLT, Sill Bracket to Insulator but I cannot find the size (Hopefully nobody has lost these)
      Recommend Grade 8 and if I replaced the bolts (as they have washers) I would use Flange Bolts (Flange bolts have washers already molded to them). Same thing with nuts you can order flange nuts.
      I use Bolt Depot due to having stock and shipping quickly.
      Hope this helps someone.
