Curd- 3/4 cup
Baking soda-1/3 tsp
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Split black gram(urad dal)- 1tbsp
Split chickpeas( chana dal)-1 tbs
Asafoetida (hing)-1/4 tsp
Cashew-10
Curry leaves
Cooking oil-1 to 2 tbsp

I made it today,I also used some vegetable in tadaka like a carrot, capsicum,peas,onion,sweet corn .Really it was a good test

Kavita ji thanks for sharing such a lovely recipe. Instead of baking soda can I use fruit salt/ ENO ? You have used sooji that is not roasted..is there any reason for not roasting the sooji. Planning to make this idli for my toddler. Madam please reply.
yes , you may use eno , and also I have used roasted dal in it , so din't roast sooji to save time. but you may roast if you want

Hi Kavita wntd to ask to if we use more than 1 cup of rava ....for example ( 3 cups ) do we hv to change the measurements of baking soda or it will be the same whether 1 cup/ 3 cups ?
