So PG&E gonna start with the Power outages again huh? So who do I contact about reimbursing me on all the food that spoils in my fridge and freezer? You gonna cut me a check PG&E when my power gets cut and I have to toss out the food from my refrigerator/freezer and my deep freeze or should I expect a check from Newsom??

Marieliza R. I know....me, too. Yesterday, I bought 3 packs of Chicken Breasts, that were pretty darn expensive. The food will probably be good in the freezer for a few hours, if we don't open it, but not overnight. Ugh....
Pg&e are giving you fair warning to be prepared. You have options, like purchase a generator. Pg&e won't pay for food loss.

Last time they did shut offs there was no wind anywhere within 50 miles of me....the substation is a half mile from me....this is just punishment

They are not worried about fires they just don't want to be at fault............so its cold and windy in the mountains, what do you think will happen? Well about a thousand fire places will be lit, sparks galore out the top........but that's OK cause the power company won't be blamed!!!!
