Now you guys know why Floor fell in love with Jørn Viggos guitar play,and asked him to join her in creating Northward. The rest is history😍 I got the perfect follow up tip for you guys. Completely live all the way through,and heavy: Pagan's Mind - Eyes of Fire (feat. Michael Eriksen) Michael Eriksen was in The Voice Norway 2017 and made alot of jaws drop,because of his powerful voice with a pretty good range on it too. Nils and Michael take turns on this and also sings together. Absolutely beautiful,and shows why Pagan`s Mind is seriously underrated,deserves a bigger following.

Oh trust me, Nils K. Rue, the vocalist, he is more than capable of hitting high notes.
He can do 5 octaves easy, and with sustainable tone.
He was part of Eidolon, a Canadian band, where the did a Mercyful Fate cover of the song "The Oath"
That song will melt your face.
Yeaaaah!!! My favorite band in Progressive Metal!
Pagan's Mind was a big progressive metal band in the 2000s. They haven't put out anything much lately. But their songs always had really cool structure. The short haired guitar player is Jørn Viggo Lofstad. He also played guitar for Jørn Lande for a bit. He's a very under rated guitar player. He does some spectacular stuff. The bass player is Steinar Krokmo and is just an all around good ball and loves playing his 6-string bass. The singer is Nils K. Rue and is quite versatile. He can do those soaring clean vocals, but also does some black metal screaming in some songs. He's even auditioned a couple of times on those singing competition shows, like The Voice.
This band deserves alot more attention. They are awesome. Nice done guys!

In remember many many years my friend let me listen to this song just because of the nice buildup to the solo. Got good memories back listening to this song. Lovely song!
Great stuff as usual with Pagan's Mind, the lead guitar and chorus are fantastic(as usual). It's a kind of easy listening metal song.
It's been a long wait for new music from them, hopefully the ball is rolling again and we get something in the near future.
But you still haven't done any of their best songs imo!
@Randy Henderson from what I recall he had started writing some songs but the other members had some personal issues and they couldn't get going. I think it'll happen eventually.
On the other hand I haven't heard about a new band with Michael Eriksen...that actually sounds pretty great, I'm curious to hear what that will sound like.

The Gary Moore influence was there in the melody as well as the tribute. And seeing the AP-7 roadsign made me nostalgic for the times Dad would pick me up from Alicante airport and drive us along it to my parents' home. I miss them so much, with the lockdown situation. I hope they can come over to England this year. 😢
