I've been doing sweet potato pies for about 20 years now and the best tasting way to do it is to 100% roast the potatoes because it caramelizes the sugar in the potato. You don't get that with boiling. These look so good I just I'm ready to eat my phone lol 😂. Those sweet potatoes look so good I can just eat the potato & be happy.

No browned butter? Recipe looks delicious. I always blend my sweet potato mixture in my Vitamix and then add eggs last it removes all strings and gives the pie a very creamy texture.

no i dont brown the butter. tbh i dont think browning the butter is worth the extra effort in a recipe like this.

My mom made the best sweet potato pie! After she passed I tried to duplicate it but just couldn’t get it right! My sons, nieces and nephews said that it didn’t taste the same because grandmother put love in hers! 😂😊😢

I was always hanging around my mother when she was baking. She taught me how to make the sweet potato pie. She has passed on now. My brother gave me the best compliment since she passed. He said, "Your sweet potato pie tastes just like Mommas." I cried, happy tears!!! I still miss her so much!

After i make my sweet potatoe pie mixture. I strain my so as to get rid of the sweet potatoe strings. I worked as a pastry cook for 25 years. I loved my job. Just a thought.

i hear the cooking industry loves to strain to make it feel premium. that not a bad idea tbh. i will try it out for ppl that may not have a food processor
