Hi Peter Generally i think the Global 6000 is more camparable to the Gulfstream G550. I've been operating the Gulstream G650ER which is the Extended Range variant so I'll try to give you a perspective on that The engine on the Global is the Rolls Royce BR710 (same base engine as the G550) whislet the G650 is fitted with the Rolls Royce BR725 so fuel flows vary a lttile between the two types Performance wise i think the fuel capacity makes a big difference. The Global has a max fuel of 45,050lbs whilst the G650ER has a max fuel of 48,200lbs. This translates to a range of 6,000nm for the Global and 7,500nm for the G650. Speed also varies. Cruise speed for the Global is around Mach 0.85 whilst the G650 generally is around Mach 0.88. Max Soeed for the Global is published at Mach 0.89 with the G650 max speed at Mach 0.925 Parts and reliability are similar...both very good in my experience but different individual airframes may differ From a crew perspective, whilst the Global's system are much more complex (e.g. the Global has 5 different fuel tanks. The G650 has 2 different fuel tanks!), the Vision cockpit in the Global makes it a joy to fly. Very straight forward and much more user friendly than its Gulfstream counterparts Hope this answers your questions. If you have any others plaese let me know. more than happy to share my thoughts
@mukkuimama FBHM thanks for your feedback Pilots are able to fly both types varying between flights but typically we fly one type only (I do know a few pilots that fly both). The Gulfstream G450/G550 has a similar avionics architecture to the G650 so flying these types together would be simpler than flying the Global 6000 and the G650 types As for me, I flew the G450 and G550, then the G650. After that I changed employer and moved onto the Global 6000 but that employment ceased with Covid restrictions. After this I managed to find myself back on the G650 I’ve been very lucky to have the opportunity to fly these beautiful aircraft and look after the various clients that own them Thanks for reaching out! Always enjoy answering questions P.S. Oh by the way….I’m not very good 😊 I’m only as good as my next landing and the entire team that helps make our operation possible
How does the Global 6000 compare to the G650? Fuel burn, performance, parts, reliability, etc...?

@@Skylineschannel i love your reply, may i know how you are able to fly these types at the same time? Are they that similar or are you just very good?
