Since it was gonna be my last time getting to go out and record sirens (due to school) I planned to go to this Thunderbeam in Wahiawa. This Thunderbeam was downright a failure lmao. Around 11:41 I noticed the sirens started up early. The I heard the ‘beam clicking on but noticed it wasn’t working a few seconds later it clicked off. A few minutes later it tried clicking on again but also didn’t go.. As Much as I loathe seeing these old sirens go, This one kinda has to go, its pretty much done for at this point. R.I.P Wahiawa Thunderbeam, you served us well legend! 🤙💐
The EOWS 612 at Whitmore Park worked for this months test and I also heard the multiple mods from the nearby Schofield base.
Also ignore the several cuts and constant moving of the camera throughout the video lol.

Latest update: as of March 1st 2023, it has been fixed and is now active again! But due to the condition of it, I’m not sure how long it’ll last before it breaks down again..
July 2023 Update: I filmed the Thunderbeam Once Again and has successfully sounded for this months test!

Sounds like all of Schofield’s new 3012B’s are dual tone just like the ones at Red Hill & Fort Shafter! It’s a shame to see the Thunderbeam go, it’s the end of an era for O’ahu.
I drove by Schofield after we left the park, they were all still single toned, it also seems to be on time at around 11:46am The dual tone siren was the 612 at Whitmore. I was sort of wishing I filmed the 612 instead 😂😂
@@MahalohaEthan808 Ah yes must’ve been the Whitmore 612 I was hearing. I’m surprised the 2 MadahCom UV’s at NCTAMS weren’t audible, I know they’re still single tone. Did you let the EMA know this one is dead?

The Closest Sirens I Can Hear Is A DSA At Leilua Highschool And A EOWS 612 At Whitemore Park Not Sure If I Can Hear The 6024 At Wahiawa Heights
