We used to get SpectraSmoke "cookies" from Tri-Ess in Burbank CA. They're gone now, but I think someone still makes SpectraSmoke because it was so popular in special effects. It probably requires some level of fireworks permit though, especially in insane places like CA and NY.
'Putting ideas out there' sounds like a positive thing to me.

Every show that ever changed the world (Mythbusters, The A-Team, Loony Tunes) features a personality (Adam, B.A., Coyote) whose speciality is explosives. Before, (and now, come to think of it) Flite Test had an explosive David-shaped hole in it.

Why dont you get the vampire with after burner and plumb in a small oil tank with food colouring or paint mixed in then have a metal tube near the round fuel supply for the afterburner that pumps the oil and afterburner burns it the oil

Hi, a few possibilities but to start with make sure throttle is minimum and then lower the trim, if necessary all the way down - hopefully until the beeping stops. If you've got a Futaba Tx try reversing the throttle channel first - when the battery is NOT plugged into the esc!!. Good luck!

What's a lumshevak? I used to go to air shows in the 80s all the time as a kid and they pulled those all the time. One of my favorite pilots was Clancy Speal. Was such a tragedy when he crashed into the Ohio river in Pittsburgh.

can you use a brushed esc and some of the foam cutting wire add it to a different channel and light it in the air? if you can you can also use bottle rockets in air combat! This is for you Josh Scott. I would do it but I am just starting and don't have a plain yet!

cool guys - Here is what worked MUCH better for us. You can get smoke canister that are used when they install Air conditioning piping in large commercial buildings. These are used to see if there are any leaks in the systems. The smoke burns for longer and is much thicker.
Everyone of David's ideas can't be earth shattering.

They are in the middle if a field with NO other persons around, it doesn't look like a public area, I could understand if they were in a public area or could cause danger to others/property But they're not otherwise id be pissed too, these guys ARE responsible they're just having fun with crazy ideas. How would you ignite the wick of the smoke electrically with a channel of the receiver? Lets say, applying the technique that David used to detonate the prototype Spitfire when Josh was flying, and scared the crap out of him.
Alright you guys have the on-board fireworks down pat! But have you put any thought into a "Swappable" with Rocket assist???

You know there are smoke bombs that go for a long time I recommend the ones that have camouflage on them though they only come in white

Pyrotechnic devices are getting very hot during use so you better SHIELD your plane or it will burn up. There are pigments and chemicals to make your own mixes. if you live in the USA you can get colored smoke kits from skylighter and make some. In europe it's a bit different and you have to get chemicals from other sources. You can get pretty dense smoke trails with DIY smoke bombs.

It may sound a little off topic, but you guys should attach an rc plane to an rc car and make the plane fly off the car, or make it so that you can have a big wing with a big motor on the wing on the car, and drive the car around to speed and when it takes off, just engage the thrust on the motor and fly it around!!!!!

You know it is perfectly legal to film anything you want in a public place, whether it is touching the ground or 20 feet up. No laws can be broken by putting a camera on a plane and flying in public areas as long as it is safe to fly there
