- It’s Labor Day weekend, with great company, and stunning views, what more could you ask for? We’re joining Patrick, Amanda, Atticus and Grant from Rugged Destinations as we take on part of section 2 of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route retracing prior roads at Bethel Ridge. Let's hear it! How many others have stayed at Bethel Ridge? If so what was your experience like?
I live less than a 1/2 hour away and never stayed there lol
One of our favorites, try to head up there every year! Great video as usual and you're really turning us on to the 4xe's. Next time you go, let us know!
We were camped just down the ridge from you that first night. We watched you drive by in the dark. Our camp was just off the trail and tucked in some trees on the ridge. We saw you flying the drone the next morning. We did the entire BDR section 2 that weekend. great time and a great spot! thanks for sharing your video
I haven't been to where you are but ever since I starting using a small hydraulic ram pump to bring up water to camp it's been nice having basically unlimited water right in camp.
That's the exact spot we met them in spring. Beautiful spot for chic-filet. Lol
Another great video! Awesome job of capturing Bethel Ridge in all its glory. Definitely one of Washington's gems
So amazing place and your Jeep!!
Thanks for sharing^_^
Awesome 👏
Appreciate you guys watching and the continued support, thank you!
@@ConquestOverland you bet. keep up the great content.
Was great running into you on the trip that weekend. We did Bethel Ridge the night after you did I believe.
Pound that chicken nice and thin before you bread then fry it. Be sure to use enough oil! 1/4 inch. Almost a deep fry. Cook until breading is golden brown, turning once - it will be done on the inside.
Great advice, we went wrong in so many ways with the chicken haha. Will def try this next time
Solid advice, thanks for the tip! 🙌
Very cool, was nice to meet you at off the grind's meetup. I'm in Puyallup, please keep in touch bud!
Do the off the grind have facebook page?
So glad I was able to join in on this one! 🎉
I was up there with my dog a few weeks ago doing the same section when all the smoke was there, I went down to Bear Lake where I had planned to stay but didn't stay the night due to the smoke. That's a pretty sweet trail along the ridge even with the smoke it was still awesome. Those ruts were pretty deep but knowing where your tires are at all times makes all the difference in the world walking right over all that in my 4Runner.
I went off the BDR in a couple places one took me down a trail so overgrown there were times I wasn't sure I was still on the trail, then near the bottom where I picked the BDR back up was a gatekeeper obstacle that I almost needed to winch myself over, I bottomed out pretty bad but momentum won the day. I ended up with some major pinstriping from that trail but luckily I have steel bumpers and good rock sliders or the plastic would have suffered pretty badly I think.
Sweet!!
Great video, cheers!
Another great one! Gonna need to make my way up there eventually, it looked breath taking!
Wow. Such a breathtaking view. Wish I could also be able to travel to that area.👍👍👍
Great
Yeah buddy. Lets get out soon.
Need to make it happen! This Fall is looking good 👍
I always get sad when there are premieres more than 2 hours in advance. I just want to watch the video 😢😭😭😭
Haha, fear not! It’s already live on Patreon! 😉 🤘
On trails like this which off-road height do you usually keep the GC in?
Usually just normal or off-road height 1. Anything higher I notice the ride gets a little stiff and jarring so I only use it sparingly if needing to help clear a certain obstacle and afterwards lower back down.
also note Im running 33's on mine , u going to try ?
How much weight can that jeep compass handle on the roof?
It’s a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4Xe.
I miss stanley...
He’s doing well. There’s much more in store for the future 😉👍
Do you still work at ikamper?
I do not 🙌
