My favorite overlanding videos have a variety of vehicles. Watching 10 Jeeps go over the same obstacle gets boring. Watching 6, 7, 8 different types of vehicles is interesting to me to see what they are all capable of doing. This was such a cool collection of off-roaders. Great video.

Spending the night with 5 jeeps, and our wives, trying to get to the top of Beasley Knob GA with one working winch and wet muddy incline littered with boulders the whole way up. It was both stressful and exhausting, but made for some epic stories to be told later.

Part of the adventure of overlanding are the challenges, breakdowns, recoveries and repairs. With every trip, we learn more and more and become more confident. I've loved passing on the experiences and challenges to my grandsons and sons in law. I've also learned quite a bit from your vids that have helped our group along the way. Safe travels. 😉✌

I have had some really bad times on trips. Getting stuck in the middle of nowhere while on a solo trip. Hitting a big deer. But I have always been able to pick up the pieces and continue on. The deer was bad. Now I have a custom steel front bumper, not plastic. 04 Toyota Tundra. Buying a plastic car.. Getting stuck was in Panum Crater of of 395. The place looked like a groomed Japanese garden. Volcanic Ash.. Bottomless.

One of my favorite videos of yours. I fly my Cessna from Vegas to Phoenix often and fly right over the Hualapai Mtns. There’s a trail that follows the ridgeline. I’m wondering if that’s the trail you guys are going to take. Also, Alamo Lake is my halfway point landmark that I use. Did you know it’s a Bald Eagle breeding ground? It’s marked on my aviation charts as such to ensure that we maintain 2000’ of ground clearance in the area. Anyway, great video. Can’t wait for the second part.

Come back out next winter and we will take you to some great trails & sights! I cut a hole in one of the screens on my Gazelle since the window can still close and I have 7 more, ran a wood stove pipe right out on a 45*. Got the Winnerwell medium with the windows...works amazing. I was at 18* in Prescott and it was 80 inside the tent. I wrapped the awning edge in tri-folded alum foil to keep it from melting but it never even got warm with the stove pipe centered out the window. Also folded the floor back on the stove corner so it was just sitting on the dirt. Love my Gazelle, so versatile and sturdy as hell.

Brad, you and Ronny Dahl have been two of my biggest inspirations to get into 4wding/overland camping. The last 4 years or so ive travelled all across New England in whats now my former Subaru outback. I never pushed it past what it could handle and it always got me home. My friend Andre and I definitely have some stories to tell from that little thing. Few weeks ago i traded in for my dream car/adventure vehicle, a 2014 FJ cruiser. Last night was the first night camping in it and it went really well, and had a very minor section requiring 4wd. In the near future im hopeful to travel out to the western part of the country to really see some stuff. Maybe we’ll run into each other. Anyways happy trails, and keep up the good content!

Likely, we have both gone on a keto diet for different reasons, but it has done me a world of good. Last October I weighed 350 pounds at 6’3” and would almost die walking up the stairs in my house. Seven months later I weigh 220 pounds and I run 5 to 6 miles a night. I also do not eat anything processed anymore. Looks like a bow saw would have went a long ways along with a chain saw ! A axe is good till you have a 3ft plus diameter tree across the trail ! Breakdowns happen ! Been there and I wish I could say only once :)
