I was introduced this video by my best friend and i loved this ever sense. We both enjoyed Russia and she found this video one night and showed me this the following day. My heart melted on how this amazing artist tied this song to Russia and Anastasia. I listened none stop of this cover and reading the translations. Trying to describe how well this was animated, shown a story, and understanding the meaning takes my breath away and words. This is truly amazing and it will still forever be amazing no matter what.

This was too sad. The ending part was my favorite, where Russia looks at his flag. I saw somewhere that the three stripes represented the three nations: white for Belarus, blue for Ukraine, red for Russia.
Actually, You saw it this video. When "Russia" looks at his flag, stripes signed as "my small sister, my big sister, mine". Small sister is Belarus, big sister is Ukraine in APH.

No, no way. The author of this movie was in high school (10-13th grades) when she made this, and she is Japanese. I think she couldn't understand the lyrics of the music, though she must know that the song was from Russia.
The original owner of this song already uploaded this song to youtube with the English lyrics.( i think it was called Russia in the eye of the Japanese.
Titan Mania Yes we do, it was announced back in 2009 that the whole family died in 1918. The reason the controversy happened was because Maria and Alexei were taken and burned after their death.

As person, who lived in Russia most of my childhood, I cried. Because that song and what happened... I just can't explain.
I’ve never been to Russia (I *DO* plan to visit someday, though), but I have some Russian roots; and I know the feeling.
