Go to a curly hair stylist and ask if they can do a "Curly Girl Cut". It's cut while dry, piece-by-piece. This makes the curls pop and gives you volume.

I found it hard as a Caucasian girl with curly hair, I thought because I wasn't of color that I couldn't pull of my hair like many other curly girls. I love all of them. I live in NC and the humidity if horrendous, I spend the first half of my life in California I had gorgeous shiny curls, the dry heat made my blackish hair shine with highlights. I have been wearing braids and space buns for about 20 yrs, I am older, and some people have mentioned the “youthful” hair styles over the years, I am 53 yrs. Let en talk if I would have rocked my hair natural it would be a lower back length Afro and I am sure they would have talked more, but the heat keeps that from ever happening in the summer. 😂 You don’t need a specific outfit to wear to wear space buns shorts and T-shirt, summer dress, a cute shorts/ skirt romper. Just wear what you want. I guess that is the blessing of age, after 30 yr I was wearing whatever, my shorts and heels, T-shirts from the boys section to fancy dresses. All with braids 😂😂
