That how she is when she is focused, I remember the BTS for their Monster MV, both Seulgi and Irene have laser like focused while reviewing their performance on the monitor.
Irene and Seulgi's relationship is so interesting to me from an outside perspective. Seulgi radiates such a natural performance energy and Irene calmly and quietly captures attention even though she doesn't come off like a natural Idol. They seem to mesh together so well. Like they could not speak for months and then pick up where they left off like nothing happened. They seem to communicate well with little words between them. It's quite unique compared to the overflowing love the other members show Seulgi. I know Irene is considered cold by people who don't follow RV much, but to me, she really radiates warmth when she's like this.

Seriously Red Velvet’s reaction to Seulgi’s mv is the best! Everyone was so focused and in awe. They’re all so supportive and encouraging like a family. Joy being shocked the whole time calling it legendary, Wendy just like us “No it’s not ok” lol and saying it will sweep kpop, and Yeri and Irene are super focused on the mv. Also Yeri, that’s my favorite scene as well haha. I love this
For the people who talk badly about Irene and Yeri: not all of us are expressive like Wendy and Joy, even Seulgi herself just smiles and that doesn't mean she doesn't care about her solo debut, Irene and Yeri look very attentive to the video and even They never take their eyes off each other unless Seulgi talks to them and they are seen smiling.
