If you’re not from the big three and don’t follow the trends it will be extremely hard to get attention.You can only “strive beyond that” if you’re from a decently sized company.
If you want people who actually make art then you are going to have to look beyond any pop industry. The main goal of any big label is to make money (they are a buisness after all), and they don't care about the people that they have signed (unless they are making them money). Most idols (and musicians outside of korea) probably are in it for the art but they only get to do what they want to do, if what they want to do makes the company money.

No matter how much we stream (and ReVeluvs isn't even that big of a fandom to begin with) it's not gonna reflect on chart, fans have no power whatsoever. Seulgi just lacks general public recognition and her song isn't something a newly debuted soloist should do if they want to capture the public's heart. It's Seulgi's choice, she rather chooses arts then charts and as fans we respect it

actually most idols had already learn the choreography before they record the song and they used the demo first, because they don't have so much time to record first then learn the choreo after, so they balanced it with using the demo to learn choreo while recording the song
correct. there are so many words that had become cliches because of the kpop community. thinking of words to describe her have been pretty hard because of the cliches. how she is described as an all-rounder in her company goes well with how you described her in your comment 👍😍 she indeed is 🍃

Wow, I love the way they developed 28 Reasons - the demo having "I kiss your brother, I steal your sweater" vs the way the final version does not repeat the rhythmic pattern immediately, is much more satisfying. Of course we also have Seulgi's incredible vocals delivering the final product, but really. She was able to hear the potential in this song very clearly from the beginning.

Pretty much idol of idol, she's still active in idol industry wearing different hats off-screen doesn't make her stop being idol or artist. Just like Hyo, Seulgi is no doubt talented but let's not take it over the top.

As expected, *CROWN IS DEFINITELY A DESERVING TITLE TRACK CANDIDATE.* But this song is not of a dance song, maybe that's why it wasn't chosen as the title track. But the vibe and beat of the song is ver much Seulgi-ish. Thankfully, this was added as a side track.
I can feel the team too has different expectation for Seulgi just like us, she was really stressed I think. It's good the process is shown. Seulgi is still challenging herself. People don't realize how hard it is to record a solo track, unlike groups where a member sings only 5 or 10 seconds, Kpop fans don't realize that a soloist litteraly has to hold 4min full all alone unlike Kpop groups.

Just like Hyo, Seulgi is no doubt talented but let's not take it over the top.

It’s so amazing to see the behinds for recording a song. You can see how intricate every song is. Everyone is so easy to hate a song, but u have no idea how long and hard it is to record it. Seeing this makes me appreciate artists even more.
