Will Sergeant, always loved his guitars and his style, so much talent.
I too.
Me too followed them since about 84, nothing ever lives up to first four albums though..the climax to over the wall ,and the urgent counterpoint guitar in 'Ripeness' , and the big bashing b side 'Rollercoaster' ,are my three faves ( oh make it four....Thorn of Crowns..)
got completely addicted to this song. a masterpiece.
Best band in the world!! fantastic!!!
Awesome is not a Superlative word enough to describe This Legendary Band. Thanks. I Love this. :).
Beneath the seabed...Loneliness...Onlyness...nothing to fear for the fellow somnambulist.
How did he ever make it through the song without a drink and a cigarette? Classic.
Yeah, too many ciggies reduced his range.
I like it,Ian has an extremely distinct voice.Sounds fantastic too me.
i think you mean "extremely EXtinct."
@@equin0xia you probably listen to Justin Bieber and fucking top 40,don’t goddamn reply ,you have no idea.
@@equin0xiaComing from something nonexistent
Love it!
Tá massa pra arrepiar qualquer dorminhoco,. Chega em Porto Alegre Ian, estamos lhe esperando! abraços!
Gosto muito do Timbre da voz dele.💖🎧🎤👏👏👏👏👏😍
Awesome
glad u guys r still there/...great
One of their best songs, never really got any airtime, shame, still sound great
Pure talent 👏 ✨️ 👌
Mac's singing is actually quite good on this. Well, he always try to do his best on "Jools..."
"quite good?" you have a very loose definition of "good."
@@equin0xia so sorry to tinkle your tinkle. Mac really did set so high a bar in his youth that even he can't outdo himself. :)
Awesome stuff.
nice sounds, new wave,,,, 🎶🎸👍🚬
Echo necesito más directos como ese
I really like this
Voice better than recent years but smoking has taken it's toll.
cool
The band that Coldplay modelled their sound from.
agreed 100% Coldplay are fake. Mac has inspired thousands of bands and other artists
Future 'sleeper' hit in the making...
Desde los 14 que ya es xd
Mr. Lips!
Siempre amare a ian.. Pero lo malo es que seremos la generación... Donde veremos a nuestros artistas favoritos morir 😪 tengo 19 años
Will é foda !!!! my guitar man !!!!! kkkkk
Concordo contigo!
Never heard his voice so good. Plenty of autocorrect
Mac's voice s2
Ouch. Longevity in rock n roll rarely works. The Fall, Nightingales, can't think of anyone else who managed to move on as they aged. Mac and Will should have stuck with Electrafixion. Fantastic name for a band and people like me who remember their truly great period (recording wise 80/81, live 80-85), would not keep comparing their latest output to it.
Agree TOTALLY. Doesn't sound good either now or before
I really love the Electrafixion period, even to now. Fantastic sounds and songs. That said, I always find songs on every post-2000 release that make me believe again, this being one, as well.
Besides Ian, theres an original member?
will sergeant the guitarist
@TheDoheneydrive ..he's probably too embarrassed to be in a Oasis look-like. Ha!
let Will Seargent sing, Ian's voice is not more what is was
Well, if you expect someone´s gonna sound the same at the age of 60 as they did when they were 20-25 you´re an idiot. I love the way he sounds now as much as his younger voice.
@@vicsillnorth7970 -- nice straw man. he didn't say he expected him to sound the same 35 years later. he would just like if the guy hadn't stupidly destroyed his voice to the point where it is a ragged shell of itself so that it wouldn't be embarrassing to see/hear him try to perform. and in case you think that singers can't sound very nearly as good as they used to, check out andy mccluskey of OMD....the guy took care of his voice, i swear that he sounds as good today as he did 35 years ago. maybe that makes YOU the idiot.
Quiz time! Who has the yellowest teeth? Ian or the late William F. Buckley JR.?
Fake teeth are fake teeth!! You can see them a mile away.
I hoped there’d be more Rusts and Nothing Lasts Forevers as Mac aged. At least they’re still playing and Will sounds great. I rank this one up there with that dreadful Holy Moses song really on a couple years back.
This is way better than Rust and Nothing Last forever. There is something a bit morbid about those two songs, like a lost innocence and realization of mortality.
Not a great song but always fun to watch Mac and Will!
There are plenty of wonderful old songs, but since Slideling and What are you going to do with .? it has been less than stellar. Flowers was nice ,but i lost interest in Ian at Siberia .Will is always phenomenal.
the fountain is practically a masterpiece, not better than Siberia
You should listen to Meteorites album (2014), that´s like their best one since...... Ocean Rain maybe.
@@anaranjadisimo "The Fountain" was the total and utter fall from grace of what was left of the greatest band in the world. Siberia had the awesome "In The Margins" their last great song. The rest was pretty uneven. As for Slideling this has two great songs, "Baby Hold On" and "Kansas" but the rest was just OK.
so sad
Well that was underwhelming.
They were a good band but The Cure, because of Robert Smiths unique voice, went on to become huge and Echo and the Bunnymen just went nowhere. Amazing that they are still playing after 40 years. That’s an achievement in itself.
Echo and the bunnymen are better than the cure
@@romanward78 couldn't agree more
@@romanward78 Nicely put.The truth is usually quite simple.
