What regional mythology do you like the most? Norse, Celtic, Japanese, Greek, etc?
Normally Greek or Japanese but Norse Mythology is a good one for me but Fate is short on its servants on that part. So far only Brynhildr, Sigurd, Valkyrie (three in one), and Skadi.
I've been on a binge of Norse and Celtic lately, though Greco-Roman and Japanese have always been favorites as well.

I think it should be pointed out that there are plenty of differences between Segfried and SIgurd's legends.
For example, Siegfried kills an unnamed dragon (not Fafnir) by slashing it with such force that he's bathed in blood, giving him invulnerable skin. Fafnir is how the Norse call the dragon Sigurd kills with Gram. Sigurd lies in a pit waiting to ambush Fafnir, and when the time to strike is at hand he stabs it in it's heart, droplets of the dragon's blood falling in his mouth and giving him understanding of nature and wildlife (basically he can talk to animals).
An even bigger difference between the two warriors is the origin of their legendary swords, with Balmung having no precise origin beyond being a legendary blade, while Gram was a weapon of the Norse God Odin himself which was also broken by Odin and later reforged and granted to Sigurd for the express purpose of killing Fafnir.
Similarly Valkyrie Brynhildr only shows up on Sigurd's Norse accounts, while the Germanic Siegfried tale has a Queen Brunhildr which more or less fills the same role (except less valkyrie-ish). We can thank Wagner's Operas for the whole confusion and mixture of facts between the Norse and Germanic tales. Even Fate mixes facts by having both versions kill a "dragon named Fafnir" but instead leaves the subject of who killed the true Fafnir murky. It's only important that they BOTH killed a legendary dragon with enough power to grant magical properties (invinsibility and Understanding of Nature) and that both dragons hoarded riches.

Brunhild's craziness is partially explained by the fact that she and all of the other Valkyries according to fate lore were created from the corpse of the white Titan sent by Velber, so in a way Attila is something like her sister.

I just finished reading Tolkien’s version of the myth, and along with this my only conclusion is that Brynhildr needs the biggest hug.
For the Nero event, I was lucky enough to get two golden spark Brynhildr, All my luck is gone till the next event.

@@zahaksvods6043 Passionlip is basically just one of BB's clones, but with a mixture of Parvati, Brynhildr and Durga. While the 3 divinities are part of why she looks the way she does and has the abilities she does, her personality is just a part of BB's personality. As BB describes it, the Sakura Five are beings that she "created from herself". Them having Divine Authorities is only with the express purposes of beating the protagonist of CCC.

If you think about it, with so many supernatural entities cooped up in one place with questionable personalities, Chaldea makes a great setting for a horror game.
A bit like the SCP containment game (or Lobotomy Corporation if you have played it) with a hint of Alien Isolation that plays like Outlast.
Sometimes it makes me think, should Da Vinci and Mash were to ever take a vacation day away from Chaldea, the whole facility would likely disappear in a massive nuclear fire/black hole.
Edit: actually now that I think about it more, it would probably play out like the germs in Mr Burn's body. There are so many crazies trying to get to Gudao at the same time that they would all get jammed up at the door i.e. they all take each other out in the process.

I have spoken of my ideas for various other Servants. My idea for Brynhildr is for her to be summoned into the world of Angel Notes. It is a harsh, brutal world where only 5,000 humans remain alive. Horrifying beasts, twisted by the poisonous Grain of the dead world, roam the wastelands devouring any people they find. The survivors band together into several tribes to survive. The two greatest protectors of mankind are dead. Gun God having been blown apart in an explosion, while Ado Edem slays Type Saturn, only to be felled by an attack from three of the remaining four Aristoteles, Type-Mars, Type-Uranus, Type-Neptune and Type-Mercury.
Brynhildr’s master is a scavenger named Victor. He has received extensive cybernetics modifications since his youth to survive the harsh environment. He is bitter, deeply cynical from growing up in an apocalypse, but Brynhildr’s kindness and heroism restore some of his faith. Together the two of them work together to try to save the remnants of humanity from extinction.
The other six Servants I envisioned naturally include Brynhildr’s beloved Sigurd, forced to fight through circumstance but never once losing his love for his beloved Valkyrie. The others are King David, still as shamelessly flirtatious and carefree as ever, yet displaying a bit more of his wisdom, faith and kindness, as well as Iskandar, undaunted in his hammy glory even in the face of Armageddon. He and Cleopatra have both become leaders of two of the remaining tribes, opposing the other Servants but bravely leading their people nonetheless. Sixth is Caster Bluebeard, now more than ever convinced that God has abandoned humanity, using the apocalypse as proof, with a frightening number of people following him. Lastly is a Berserker incarnation of Vlad III, summoned in a nightmarish patchwork of his Warrior, King and Vampire aspects with a horrible secret behind it.

None. Siegfried's love troubles were with Queen Brunhild. There's a lot less "gods" involved and Siegfried is loyal to his wife and doubles down on his fooling Brunhild. Sigurd on the other hand tries to claim he would leave his wife and accept his original vow to Brynhildr but Brynhildr was so furious that she orders his death anyway but comitts suicide as well (which Brunhild does not do).
Siegfried and Sigurd are two stories that derived from one basic legend.

Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Silver and Blue. It's the prequel to the original Fate/Prototype... which does not exists as of yet (even though we have Proto Cu for some reason).

Karna's been helping her with "Urges" (thank god), he actually volunteered to do help her.
Shouldn't Siegfried be the one volunteering? I mean, if they have to sacrifice someone to the possible murder/suicide disaster, might as well be Sigurd's doppelganger.
It’s possible he wouldn’t even mind.
My reasoning for Karna volunteering is:
1. He is my first SSR Lancer and since Bryn is the second SSR Lancer I've summoned, it seems right for Karna to help her.
2. Despite having the "Brynhildr's Beloved" trait, Karna would be able to handle her attacks thanks to his incredibly durable armor.
3. Karna is the Hero of Charity, so it's in his nature to help others. He'll help no matter how Dangerous the task is.
4. I haven't summoned Sumanai yet.....

Sigurd and Siegfried are considered to be the same existance but different origins of their myths. In FGO, for Bryn, Siegfried has aura similar to Sigurd. So Sigurd and Siegfried are the same existance but have some differences from each other. Example Sigurd's Fafnir is said to be white while for Siegfried is black.
I use to think that Sigurd is an alternate version of Siegfried

In Fate, yes. Two heroes sharing similar legends.
@@otakudaikun technically in our tales too since Seigfried’s story varies at several important points. They’re similar enough that their common root is easy to see but the details change.

A question came to me if one incarnation of Shirou still had Avalon like the one from Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, could that Shirou be summoned by an alternate Kiritsugu, like how Rin summoned Archer (Emiya) or no that's not how it works? Edit: all or almost all hero's lives were screwed up and made worse after their deaths.
