- ERic Burdon & War Spill The Wine! I had this Version on before but had to much Pops and Hisses. The background noise has been removed. I purchaed a record cleaner and she sounds Sweet!
No decade will ever produce as much great music as the 70's.
I like the specific period of 1967-1977
@Tommy Except the 1960's!
@@lisadc4681eh, the 80’s-90’s got y’all beat
This is just out of the 1960s
Amen . . . . but include 68 and 69
Everyone who disliked this evidently never spilled the wine. One of the coolest songs ever! Eric Burdon was a bad ass 💗
Eric is still doing Concerts.
Yessss....
@@erndawg4201 nuqa,
Spillin' wine 🍷is my hobby, L🍷L!
This song makes me feel like I'm walking down the strip smoking a fat joint with all my friends having the best night of my life I can't possibly imagine disliking this video
My son at 8 yrs old, 1998, did a lip-sync to this song, and KILLED it.. I educated my kids on the GOOD music of the 60's and 70's....
Next Generation keeping it real! Peace Lil Man!
I'm 14 here in 2023 listening to this because I educated myself on it.
@@housevo330that's cool, now educate your friends.. 🙏🏼
My son's a little older 1985 but was weaned on the best music from the womb and now at 40 yo he old-time rocker ❤
Those who grew up listening to this song, Cheers to you ! We were the last generation to experience the frequency of music of feel good songs as this one....dig that girl !!!!!
dig that pearl...
Yeh it's TAKE THAT PEARL !
It's a sexual orgy song ! 😎😉✌🏼🙋🏻♀️
No, no you weren't.
A classic song. Very different from anything else that was being played at the time. And it's STILL different. And it's still so good.
Its. The. Last. Song i. Wil. Ever. Write. For. You
I agree
Change good to...
Awesome
Fabulous
Well
U get it
Being different is great!
I could not have put it any better myself. Always loved this song. Always will
It reminds me of my patentes. They really loved this wonderful music..😭 My father died long time ago. It is why this song makes me cry.
One of the coolest dudes and frontman of all time. Eric Burdon put his heart full of soul in his singing ! His body of work with War is so overlooked and I always admired his work in different types of music !
back before the days of music videos, when the artist wanted the listener to envision themselves in to the whole song, this was one of the finest examples ever. Eric Burdon kills it.
doctor steve. There is an original video of this when it first came out in 1970, without the scratchy sound of the needle on the vinyl record.
Although I have to say, that scratchy sound gives this a texture that takes me back to a much better time and place!
This song throws me back to a hot summer day playing baseball out in a field behind a neighbor kids house with all the other neighborhood boys such innocent times I really miss them
Throws me back to the summer of 1970. Watching the sun rise over a beautiful park in Redlands, CA. Love this song and War.
nothing will ever replace the crackle of a needle on vinyl. Peace out.
Dude, lighting a joint in the dark with a Zippo. We're not allowed Peace in America, and there is no way out. Henry
Vinyl is actually coming back.
it never left
Marcello Ievoli you got that right! Rare these days indeed!
I concur brother.😎
I've always loved Eric Burdon's voice!
Me too
I like the lady, ( background) saying those bad word's in Spanish.
Eric burdon and war a great combination 😎🤩
Yeah , you got that right .
Absolutely
Man, this is one of the reasons I'm still listening to vinyl in 2019
Esta canción me gusto muchísimo desde que la oí en 1970
2021💕🎶💕🎶
Nearly 50 years old and I still don't tire of this song.
70 and still love this song! Rocking Grandma
Takes me back to 1970 laying face down on the grass watching the ants doing their thing and listening to this tune on the radio.
i hope u mean...laying down on the grass...smoking grass
Felix Burke Me too! It was summer and I was 11.
Sounds like you were stoned!
Shrooms back in the 70s😜
Felix Burke That's an awesome memory of your youth...Love classic rock.
One of my most FAVORITE songs!!! Spill that wine!!!
Definitely a superb musical contribution at a perfect time and space in the cosmos. We spilled a lot of wine indeed. It went well with the weed we smoked and the cigarettes we enjoyed.
Bit of the sex too?
@@therespectedlex9794 bruh
This song for a moment takes you back to the 70s and how it felt. Certain songs take you back and for a quick moment feel how it was. The video I made for these song in my head never changes.
I agree 100% with my man on top of me here. but I'm a Musician been playing for fifty-5 Years:..big deal rightLOLa different time to listen to this tune and I'm by myself most of the time and I listened and I lay in some tall grass and I ain't Kiddin you.the song it's just coolbeen listening and playing that for a long longtime and it doesn't get old ...Grandpa out 🔥😎
Takes me back to a day on the beach trippin on orange sunshine. Best day ever.
It was window pane for me. Happy trails!
Humpy window pane so small and transparent such vivid colours WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will never forget the time I took purple haze, (this was straight from a friends older brother that went to Berkley back in 1970) I took it and fried for 4 days straight. I coulden't come down either!!!!!!
I had a very bad experience with blotter acid also. Manufacturing techniques I think were very flawed in some instances whereas some hits you got very little of the active ingredient whereas in others you got way too much.
YES that sadly happened. Hope all is ok now.
Still the best electric wine song ever. The stoned age was truly one special time. Thank you dizzydaves2007 for sharing this classic with others. Remember, LSD consumes 47 times its weight in excess reality. Because of it our class had 49% fewer bummers ~~ Rock On
I'm with ya, brother
Love Eric Burdon...Listening in the year 2019
Yup me too!
You bet--Saw him with War years back---
For all you posers out there, I want you all to know if you want to be big than stretch yourself thin and invite them in! Grrrr! I just love my position of the Club House Mouse! Will ALWAYS love this song 💞 saw him sing this in person.... OMG!!! I cud not speak for days... Sweet Lord!!💕
HOW LUCKY YOU WHERE SEE HIM AND WAR IN PERSON
Amen!!!
I had the pleasure of hosting Eric Burdon at my club in the early 90's when he performed this song. He had Brian Auger on organ. What a night!
I have always loved Eric and everything he's ever done.. with whatever band he's been with, you can always recognize his original voice.. magical.
EVERYONE THAT LIKES THIS SONG HAVE GOOD TASTE IN MUSIC.
Thank you Papa

Am I going crazy 😬 I love this song it's a just a dream.
Awww yes, Sex, Drugs & Rock-N-Roll. 1973, long hair hippie. Was 17, prime of life, Listening to Eric Burdon & War. Do I Spill The Wind & Take The Girl? Yes, I did. Today, Jan 2020, retired at 64, living life, only difference, short hair, but still wild & crazy.
THIS is IT!!! The original... she whispered something crazy.... oh yeah!
takes me back to my youth, literally...bought the 45 and played the grooves out of it! lol
It's worth being older now, to have been young then.
Timeless classic. 💯
Born in ’95 btw. I’m up on old skool. 🤣👏
94 here. 🎉
its nice to hear the whole song instead of the hack job they play on the radio.
thank you
Back in my early 70's. Was a majorette twirling my baton to some of the most popular songs of the day. Still love the music but gave my twirling up. At 61 I do think it is time! Now I am doing the glider and exercising and giving it a run! Funny, I didn't have to do all the exercise when I was a teen.
You had FM ? I wish.
Your very welcome
Raunchy Rhythm,Nova Beat, Intoxicating Lyrics, Awesome song. 70's = Psychedlic Sound.
i was 4yrs old when this came out i guess i got great taste in music

After a couple of years as Eric Burdon & WAR, Burdon left WAR, and WAR created the iconic song, 'Low Rider' , and so many other great hits, 'Cisco Kid', 'The World Is A Ghetto', 'Slippin' Into Darkness', 'Why Can't We Be Friends?' and 'So' many more multi-platinum/gold recordings. Eric Burdon is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. #WhyCantWARgetIn?
War and Taj Mahal!!!!
He was also in a little band called The Animals
Yes but it was cool while it lasted . War whent on to make more great music
It's a travesty
I went to see War in 1986 when I was 21. Vanilla Fudge, Grand Funk Railroad and Rare Earth! At a now defunct rock club in South Boston. "The Channel"
Wow... Eric Burdon ..Bob Dylan ..Arlo Guthrie ...Jeanie C Riley ... Bob Denver...Bee Gees...God so many great artists that tell a story in there songs that take us away.. love them all...and thank them all.. for being part of my and many others lives during the 60s till now...
One of my all time favorite songs!!! I was 10 yrs old when this song came out and i remember this song playing on the radio as our family was driving from Baltimore to our new home in Miami. great times!!!
+aaron kramer Beautiful animal in your photo and I was 17 yrs old when this came out. I graduated that summer of 1970. Great memories and smokin' times for sure!
At first I thought it was a girl with one of those stupid dog faces superimposed on her face.
Angel Blue class of 2010. ;D and one of my favorites. Family barbeque song! I love that this music is still so popular!
Classic Eric Burdon! Amazing sounds!
What a great song. Will love this song (spill the wine ) forever. Thank you for selecting it. Great U S Navy memories.
It's that awesome Latin beat in the background that makes you groove to the music...Reminds me a little of Santana...
i haven't heard this since the 70s! brings back memories!

. Thanks for the memories. !!
This is taking me back to 1972 with my cousin cruising in a 1963 impala SS 4 speed with a big 327 motor I wish I can go back to the year good memories
Erid Burdon was a true punk rocker . His voice is so beautiful and fierce it makes you shiver. I cant understand how i missed it so long.
I cranked this song up in my boyfriends green sports 1970 Mustang. Wow! It was a fun time to be young and so carefree.
Just laying in my backyard on the Hamic digging this song man drinking a beer and smoking a Doobie
I've loved this song since I was little. It led me to play the flute for many years!!
Do you remember when you had to have talent to make music, why do you think we keep going back to the quality of music put out when we were young. My son plays the music of my youth I don't play the music of his.
Tony Swann my grandson plays it!
My boys love listening to the music of my youth. I don't so much enjoy the music of their youth. Sometimes, but not often. I still try , for them, but nothing beats 60's and 70's. Even they agree, and are usually amazed by my generations music.
❤❤
You are so right. I used to think maybe I was just becoming an old fart until a friend's son who is only 18 got into my car and Paint It Black came on the radio. He knew all of the words. I said to him, "hey I was only about 4 when this song came out. How do you know it?" He replied, "This is all me and my friends listen to. The stuff they play on the radio now is pure shit." LOL
Everyone so obsessed with their selfies no one takes the time to care about what is going on
Sounds amazing......One of the best voices to ever walk the face of the planet
Back in the late 60's we all had good stereos and were always bitching about rumble and hiss and crackle....I was running a standard Garrard turntable with Shure Type 2 Improved cartridge through a big Pioneer amp and out through AR3 speakers...Heard Let It Bleed, brand new, on that set. Now, I love the hiss and rumble 'cause the actual music coming out is much cleaner and crisper than any digital device....
Well said!
I love this guy,,,extremely talented.. I could listen to EB all day. Anything he touched turned to gold..
wow,the memorys of this song,great tune,thankyou.
My older brother had this same 45 back in 1970. One of the most hip songs to hit radio. Eric Burdon & War. 'sounds about right. I really dig the pipes on this one.
I had the 45 vinyl when it came out n 1970 I was 17 years old it was my fovorite dong !
😅 I was 12 🎉
Always loved this song. Perfect in/for boogie nights.
I'm so glad to finally hear the full version of this song - I remember, back when I was a kid-even like 11 or so & when they'd play it on some FM station you'd always hear the full song but then, for some reason, around the late 80s into the 90s and on, it's as if that version disappeared and I kept getting so frustrated-what had happened was, I suppose for some greatest hits record or something, they edited out the whole 2nd verse - the part where he says "now wait a minute/I know I'm lying in a field of grass somewhere/So this must just be a dream..." - and from then on, every time I'd hear it on the radio, they ALWAYS played that edited version - there was no reason to-especially when those "Classic Rock" stations popped up-I mean, they'd play long tunes by other bands - like long Zeppelin tunes - "stairway" or "Kashmir", etc and other stuff - I can't think of 'em all but they weren't adhering to that idiotic "3 minute rule" for pop tunes. So why the hell didn't someone finally realize this was a stupid edited version and get the right one on? Once in a while, if I was listening to a "classic rock" station and the song would come on I'd sit and listen, hoping (always) in vain that just maybe they'd play the full version - but they never did. That is so fucked up! I'm so glad to have found a copy of it, though, because I KNOW I wasn't crazy and didn't just imagine that there was a missing verse this whole time. Thank you very much to whomever uploaded this version -good to hear the right one -even if it's on a vinyl record w/a few pops and hisses. No biggie. That (full length) one is one of my favorite Eric Burdon tunes, next to the Animals' "Sky Pilot" and their "When I was Young".
This song is so dank. I'm in a van right now with Cheech and Chong playing air bongos.
Van? Best place to smoke some Blunts, roll up windows and burn baby burn. keep sealed and kick back.
Patrick Cole leave them dirty blunts alone...burn a nice joint, pipe, or bong, that don't fuck up the flavour of the herb👍
