- They've changed the mini challenge for the St. Patrick's Day event! Note, this video was EXTREMELY rushed, so some small details might be different. Hopefully overall, it's mostly right :)

Edit: there is no longer a Platinum upgrade; the last D reward is still the 4th glasswork.

About platinum upgrade, I’m guessing they will possibly include it in the next challenge.

am i correct if i say there is 100% no platinum upgrade in all of the rival quests not one..? than i wont do last 2 quests.. F ed up my whole strategy getting 3 arch platinum

The last 3 fighting tasks (win ------ battles without losing) Can be completed in GBG. That won't be an option next week but might be able to complete in Continent Map or GvG.
They also changed rewards for the tasks + manager no? I'm on step 5 "complete 6 tasks", I don't have any archdruid tree selection kit in my inventory from the step earlier, and it gives me said tree selection instead of druid hut selection
2nd rival challenge path gives the beta rewards so you can get 2 celtic gw selection kit with 24 completed quests :D

So for questlines B and C we can just rush through GE with attacks and negotiations, and all of them will auto complete?
No, only the GE-related components of Challenge tasks. Along the way, pay attention to when you complete tasks in the minigame, as this will complete some of the Challenge quests. Make sure to complete other "win battles" requirements if those appear while you are negotiating through GE. Then, if you complete GE level 4, you may still need to complete some remaining battle tasks and minigame tasks in those questlines.
No platinum Upgrades? Saves a lot of Gold :) thx for keeping us up to date!

There's 2 rival quests this event right? Will the 2nd one be identical to the first as far as tasks/rewards?
Yes, there are two, but may not be exactly the same. The next one will have the platinum upgrade, for example.

I have a question regarding St. Patrick's Day Event?
If I got 2 Archdruid Hut Upgrade Kit.
Can I use one to place the Druid Hut - Level 9 in my city and use the other one to upgrade it?
Or I have to start the Druid Hut upgrades from Level 1?

No, the upgrade kit only upgrades the level 9 to the Archdruid Hut. It doesn't let you place the lower building. You'd need another level 9 Druid Hut to use your second kit.
So can I fight 1-4 GE and still have those quests completed?
yes, but you also need to complete minigame tasks. Note that SOME of the quests require negotiating in GE AND minigame tasks. Once you complete GE level 4, the negotiation component will autocomplete, but you then need to work on the next quest in that questline, which will require MORE minigame tasks or some battles. Overall, it means that you either need to try do the Challenge a bit more "by the book" (negotiate some) OR complete more minigame tasks, AND complete GE level 4 either way of course.
this is when there is no fun anymore and every challange feels like a chore that you need to focus on it to not make mistakes... bad game design
I kinda feel jaded of everything I need to do in this game, GE, GBG, settlements, aid and visit tavern, PvP, daily challenge, now with this event, I have to online constantly, feels like a chore indeed

If you rush the GE and you do not negotiate (just fight(, you‘ll miss out on some of the tasks, or am I wrong?
Not exactly. The negotiation questline will remain stuck until you complete GE level 4. THEN you will need to complete a bunch of battles and more minigame tasks to complete that questline. Overall it may take a little longer - still possible though.

So if you are in a newer city, you will not be able to complete this? There is no way I can complete 4 levels of GE at this point.
If you can't complete GE, no, you won't be able to complete it.
I used 3 towns to compete my quest line. Before this video I didn't know about rushing ge. So I did all negs 1st then the fights, I completed all these quests by the 1st task in town 3.
I played them through the Mini Challenge and it was disappointed that they nerfed the Platinum upgrade. I cannot recommend this Mini Challange at all after playing.
You can still get lots of pots of gold, boosters, and other rewards. No reason why not to do at least some of the mini challenge.
What is the 4 hour time skip??…I only find 2 hour time skip
