I made this following your recipe (which is slightly different from my Trini mum's recipe, she also makes the flat and round). They came out beautifully. Thanks for sharing your version X

Hello Chris.. must say I tried your recipe this morning and it went down a treat😄. Love your style of Caribbean cooking.. it surpasses many I have viewed on RUclips... your recipes are clear and concise and I love your air of cleanliness in the kitchen.. So from a fellow Trini.. You pass the test!😄😄

Omg Chris this recipe sell off!!! This was my 1st time making these. I doubled the portions and was sold out in an hr. Things taste gooooooood! Thought fish cakes was a Bajan thing but Trini boy..... One of the customers suggested more baking powder to make them more airy.....she was just one lol. Also i would suggest reserving some of the fish chunks for after the mixing is done to be folded in so the end product will have visible pieces of fish. But like I said D things was nice. Our Independence is Nov 30th but I can't wait that long to makes these again. Thank you and I will be trying more of your recipes.

We make it for Good Friday. It is popular in the Eastern caribbean. In Jamaica they call salt fish fritters. In Hati it called Marinade.

Chris, the flavor is awesome, the only problem I had ....they were a bit greasy...any ideas how to prevent that in the future? Despite that, they went extremely fast. Just love your recipes.
