I've had my 2010 Portfolio coupe since it was barely 10 months old. The best thing I ever did. It's still a total joy to sit behind the wheel, and glorious on a long journey, yet i can run it a couple of miles to the shops regularly without a problem. It's been a source of immense pleasure, and I've had little in the way of problems for such a long ownership. I'm even still on the original exhaust system!
Turning the dial from D to S changes it to sports mode, not paddle gear shift mode. To change from automatic mode to paddle shift mode you should hold the right paddle shift leaver for 3 seconds. I’ve owned my XK 150 for ten years and still love it. Pity the F type doesn’t have rear seats since it is so useful for extra baggage space/dog!
I appreciate that cars are mostly suited to their home market. I appreciate that a US car may not be so tight in the bends but it will offer comfort over a long distance. That a German car may offer high speed to suit its autobahns. That a British car may offer luxury and feeling in the bends and on the straights but at a lower outright speed. I appreciate those characteristics and choice.
Can't see why you think a 4.2 na is not good enough? We have a very early model (vin no is a 2007 but registered in 2006) Anyway had it nearly ten years its now done close to 150k miles, we've been all over with it, plenty of power still looks good and sounds fantastic. The five litre must be great, but seriously, the 4.2 is fine.
Idk what you mean about the 4.2L XKR not being fast.If you let the automatic transmission do all the work,i was smashing ZL1s,GT500 except i had a tie with 1,they can beat hell cats, any cars with smaller engines don't stand a chance against it and its able to beat most moded cars
The X100 version from 1996 through 2006 was much more reminiscent of the E-Type, and when they were introduced they were true rivals for any other genuine GT cars being offered. The X150 version reviewed in this video, while being more mechanically sophisticated, lost some of the overall glamor that the X100 had in spades.
I disagree. The X100 was nice but looks like a gentleman's club, dated. The X150 is without doubt one of the most stylish and beautiful GTs ever made, Callum got it spot on.

Looking forward to this video and I'm sure I won't be disappointed; the best car reviewers on the internet👍🏾
We appreciate that!
Love this shape of car.
Hate the instrument panel what happened to the temp.& oil gage never mind the fuel gage which is unreadable.

"It's not often that we Brits get something unreservedly right..." while looking at a Harrier. Brilliant!
Don’t know why you didn’t say what year this actual vehicle is and price guide etc?
When even the Jag guy closes the hood incorrectly!
Was this filmed on a 90’s flip phone
Holy cow it’s poor
Love my 2010 XKR. It's my daily driver!! Perfect vehicle for me and my Life at this moment!!
And S mode is Sport Mode not Manual Mode... Manual you have to pull the shift paddle
Great to hear!
Why are you in the mud mate???
