Yes, I watched the whole video, but we gave an older model Norcold (2005). That means there a few variations in the wiring. First, we have 4 wires (2 black/white and.2 red) that enter the interior of the box.
Have you checked those 4 wires for constant voltage? I guess I got lucky with our model then - I had constant power going into the switch so I was able to use that
We have a Norcold 1200 series refrigerator. There are 4 wires (2 b/w and 2 red) that enter the inside of the box on the right side. 1 set goes to the ceiling light and power is controlled by the door switch. The other set of wires goes to the thermistor on the fins. Because the light connection would be switched whenever the doors are closed, that is not a place to splice in the Beech Lane 12v fan. However, can the Beech Lane 12v fan be spliced into the thermistor or does that disrupt the function of the thermistor?
I cannot answer your question about the thermistor but if you watched the whole video you will see that I initially tried to wire using the light and had a DOH moment regarding the door switch. I tool my voltmeter and checked the circuit at the door switch and was able to tap into there for the power. Has worked out perfectly...thanks for the question and for watching.

Does the evap fans that attach to the fins ... Is it suppose to blow towards the fins or away.
It sucks air from the bottom, across the fins, then out toward the door and down again.
