Additionally with the Slap Brackets, the part inside that let them slap onto children’s wrists were sometimes made with the same material as tape measures and the cover over them would peel off and expose the actual sharp metal. The Clacker Ball back in the 1970’s was made with metal balls, and the product was that kids would swing the string in such a way that the balls would clack and make noise and collision. Due to the material however, the metal balls would eventually break into large and little chucks and cut kids, especially since it was concerning near their eyes.
Also, the cabbage patch kid was banned because they made a different one than the one sam bought that ate food with a motor in the mouth and a girl had her hair pulled out because the doll tried eating it and wouldn't let go
