Our old cheapo coffee maker died a few days ago so I've been watching your reviews this evening to get a feel for them. I've decided to get this machine for my wife's B-day coming up. She's an avid coffee/expresso and tea drinker. This machine does the both kcup/expresso and she'll be able to get hot water for her tea too if she doesn't add any kcups. Thanks for your time making these reviews, they're very indepth and helpful!

Very Good Review. After a trip to Europe I encountered the Nespresso system and wanted one for the home in the states. I couldn't justify having a Keurig and a Nespresso on the counter. Then Instant Pot came out with the combo unit and I loved it. Only cons with it are the drips and I even tried raising the front of the unit, but that didn't help. So I just open up the mid level flip and placed a small espresso cup there to catch the drips. Strange that it doesn't drip using the higher settings, but I like my coffee strong so I always use the lower settings. We use ours with 1 pod and 1 capsule combo mix for our drinks and although I think it's hot enough, I usually warm the milk in the companion Instant pod frother. But with this new version, the bold setting is hotter which I like. So I ordered it today. Again, good review.

What an excellent, detailed review of this machine! I have only used this for about one week and even though when using the regular or bold setting, it brews to a temperature just shy of 175 F and I thought that is was supposed to brew at 195 F. Also, the low water alert came on preventing me from brewing when there was still over 20 ounces in the tank.

@@JustADad One more thing, if you could possibly help me… For this coffee maker, do you know if it’s important that there is a small, white circular doughnut-looking piece in the water tank? I’ve seen it online in some machines, but have no idea about it. It’s been inside of the rectangular piece that attaches at the bottom of the tank. The machine I got is secondhand. I’ve contacted the manufacturer & done research, but haven’t gotten a reply, nor found any helpful information. Thanks much in advance!

Wish I would have saw this before I bought my Ninja Duo Pro. The Ninja is a very good coffee maker but having to have a secondary Nespresso machine is annoying.
I had the first version of this coffee maker a few years ago, I felt it made very very weak K-Cups especially when you use your own reusable pod, but I notice your second version makes nice and dark coffee.. mine made a kind of reddish black color a little transparent.. I think maybe they've improved it a bit.. I wish I had got this version because the idea of having Espressos and regular coffee in 1 machine is nice.. now I have like 7 machines though so I can't own anymore

H just got it 10 minutes ago. How do you clean it at first? I’ve washed out the water tank and followed the steps to clean it out the first time. The bottoms flash indefinitely. Is it broken? How to clean it initially?
Great review very detailed! I think it is so bizarre they did not just label the Nespresso side as intended. 40ml, 110ml vs Ounces which is not to Nespresso specs. So question - I know you can stop the flow, but can you program the buttons to dispense exact amount on future presses?

Another great video! Question, in your opinion, would you use this machine or the Keurig supreme plus more? I only drink iced coffees or at least heavy on the cream/milk and probably a sweetener if a strong coffee. 😊😊
If you are not going to use the Nespresso side then I would get the K Supreme plus, but this is a good option also.

Great review! Do you find that the taste of the coffee is the same when using this machine and nespresso machines?
I am sorry I am just not the best for coffee taste. I like the taste of coffee out of the k cup side. the espresso side is and espresso and I just don't drink espresso by itself. I have to mix the espresso with milk to make a cappuccino. I find it tast great. My sister loves this machine and makes a Nespresso espresso and dumps it into a coffee kcup for her morning coffee, she drinks her coffee black and loves this machine.
Please do review of the new instant po duo crisp 6.5 quart air fryer multicooker combo. Have only seen at Target so far. Thanks

In terms of temperature, is this hottest coffee maker? I notice the nespressos top out at 175 and this one got to 190 on bold.
What's the difference between this one and the old one and how do I tell them apart? Other than the box, they both looks the same to me.

are there reusable k cups that hold more coffee? because I’m a big mug of coffee kind of girl. I just got a keurig mini because I’m on a budget but I was looking at this too
With your testing, have you found that the 12oz does not dispense 12oz? Mine is only dispensing about 8oz. I am using the bold option, if that makes any difference. I cannot find anything online at the moment.

So for Keurig pods the minimum serve is 8 oz. Isn't it too much for a expresso K-pod ? I noticed that Keurig has some machines with 2 oz like nespresso.
The only k cup machine that brews 2oz through a k cup is the k cafe.
Does it take the refillable Nespresso capsule?

what 2 are you wanting, if you want k cup and nespresso pod then this is your machine, if you want nespresso and a full pot of coffee then I love the new Ninja Barista system

So I’ve had this machine for just over a year and not the Expresso side wastes multiple pods regularly …. It does not pierce them anymore. So disappointed in this machine
