Absolutely amazing tank and inhabitants. Thanks for posting and answering everyone's questions (and not taking the bait from the internet trolls....hmmmm, wonder if the trolls could be trained somehow with pellets like your tigerfish?)
+Richard Reynolds Yes mate I remember you. I feel bad because I haven't responded to a lot of questions about it in the past with people, but yeah..... can be a very stricky and stressful one for sure. Glad it worked out in the end for you, Payara are worth the hard effort from juveniles
Coolest tank I've seen on here. Let me ask you - How do you make sure that your stingrays get their food before one of the others snatches it up ? I was thinking about getting a ray, but thought it would be hard to feed them.
hey man Thankyou very much. The rays are the most greedily fish of all so getting food to them is no problem, in this video I'm just feeding the tigers individually which I do often to stop aggression and fighting over food. But to feed the rays.... after the tigers are fully I just drop handfuls in there which make it to the bottom and the rays then indulge
omg, sick ending! Admire your tank so much! Would love to know what lighting you use for your tank? Im pretty new, right now considering metal halide or LED. What do you suggest? Im having black background tank and a few ATF and P.Bass. Look forward hearing from you! Thanks
+Er Kai Khoo Hey man, Thankyou! I would strongly recommend LED over anything, you get a better effect with them, you also get 'light ripple' with them on the gravel and outside the tank on the floor, they enhance Tigerfish and Bass aswell. I also use gloss black backgrounds on all my tanks, it adds depth and clarirty to the water
+ASHthaCHRONICerb Thank you so much for your respond! Few questions here, is your LED light adjustable? What is the rock in the middle, it really blend well with the dimmed light. And this sorta out of topic but if given a choice, which fish would you prefer (Golden dorado or ATF)? Thanks a lot once again!
Beautiful tank, I am just trying at the moment to convert two red tailed Payara on to dead food any any help would be much appreciated, what do you feed your Payara? how do you feed them without the tiger fish snatching all the food? And how long did it take you to get them feeding? Thanks in advance
What a tank man, awesome.this is the tank I'm aiming for in the future but only been in the hobby a year or so so still learning ,I've got a 5ft x 2ft x2ft at the minute with a12" arowana and 2 10" royal clown knife fish and about 8 other smaller flag tails and catfish and all pellet trained too.
hey bud, i was wondering if ur tigerfish became less aggressive as they got bigger. I have a trio of vits that are around 8" now and at times tearing at each other then they dont. they're in a 500 gal with other fish way bigger then them. any imput would be most helpful!
Hi, that substrate is by a brand called 'Unipac' and that particular one is called Senegal I think, they have stopped doing that one now but saying that there is some similar
+Louis Lim Unfortunately not my friend. I lost the eel from just one day in a temporary tank while moving house..... he was a very big eel so was strong enough to move the lid and get out the tank, dried out while I was at work and died
No worries man.....I have him in a 180 with a variety of fish will he eventually stop growing...he's semi aggressive and about 11 inches now....I'm just worried he will eat my other fish....but you are absolutely awesome!!!!!
+Richard Reynolds haha.... hey man Thankyou very much Rich. They are very aggressive fish and unfortunately can turn on they're tank mates, but I guess thats what comes with successfully owning one of the most immense predatory fresh water fish on the planet lol
DARREN CARTER the tank is machine bevelled glass and was made by me and some tank builders from wharf aquatics. I made the stand it's actually a cabinet has deep storage behind every door, the main filtration is outside in a shed all designed and commissioned by my self. I'll try do a walk through soon
+jonny jones Thanks man, the Goliath is blind in one eye and struggles to locate with as sharp reactions as the vittatus do to food. But this helps lower his aggression to all the others which i consider a good think really.
its a nightmare isnt it. ive trained many payara to feed dead and yes.... it aint easy. you have to do it at juvenile stage, do not feed any live unless they go over 2 weeks not feeding then live feed for a few days and try again, i always used market prawn, have a wave maker in the tank.... the payara shoal in the flow of water, when you drop a prawn above the wave maker it runs like a live fish and the payara start to notice it. after a while they eventually strike it like they naturally would in the wild. after that once feeding dead.... never live feed them ever again, and also they will start to feed just from it dropping in the tank
cannot believe what i saw... wonder how could you trained feed those monsters with pellets... my goliath would rather eat nothing for a full week than eat pellets
Hey bro. I understand the feeling, this hasn't happened over night for me.... I started with a small tank undergravel filters and a tiger oscar dreaming of monsterfish
haha nice! yeah.... was a kid in a bedroom once and thats how my fishkeeping started, but now im a man i do what i want and if i want to build a big custom aquarium in my house n fill it full of tigerfish...... i will do! aha
+ASHthaCHRONICerb Hey man you should get those sinking carnivore pellets in the 2 lb bag. Those little bags go to fast and will bleed you dry. I think it's like $60, but worth it.
Absolutely amazing tank and inhabitants. Thanks for posting and answering everyone's questions (and not taking the bait from the internet trolls....hmmmm, wonder if the trolls could be trained somehow with pellets like your tigerfish?)
venmus93 Hi there. Thankyou very much for such positivity and kind opinion on my efforts with fishkeeping.
I love how the music just stopped when you went to the feeding
Seeing them being fed something else then feeders is like so much goodness and fresh air.
Dude your tanks are freaking awesome. Subscribed.
HuaiHuan Wong Thankyou very much bro
I like your basketball food throws lol, nice tank bro standsout real well and fish look real healthy..
Keep up tha good work.
Dadez Ramirez Hey man Thankyou very much. Yeah haha.... its a technique I got going on, works well I suppose lol
I learned how to feed my Vampire Shrimp from you...he's now 10 inches:)...no live fish...great tank!!!!!
+Richard Reynolds Yes mate I remember you. I feel bad because I haven't responded to a lot of questions about it in the past with people, but yeah..... can be a very stricky and stressful one for sure. Glad it worked out in the end for you, Payara are worth the hard effort from juveniles
Wow what an awesome set up. Thanks for sharing. I like how you went with stingrays instead of catfish. Right on.

How bro?! How characins can eat pellet 😮?
Do tiger fish operate in packs and, if so, is there a danger of em attacking other fish?
po pieciu latach wracam nadal z marzeniem posiadania goliata a intro super!

hey man Thankyou very much

Very cool Ash!
Hey Bri! Thanks for always noticing my videos
That’s a badass, tank. I’ve got some cool predators, but not as cool as this
If I will have a 400 gallon aquarium with african tiger fish were would I put wavemaker bothe sides or just one side please reply
+Franzen Macatantan Hey man, have one both sides.....
Bro , how can you trained vittatus to eat pellets ? Give me some advice
How big are the tiger at 6 months and 1 year old?
Have you still got your Armatus and black rohm?
How can you train goliath to eat pellets?
There are five species of Hydrocynus . The biggest is the goliath . Is the second largest is the vittatus ? Anyway awesome fish and tank .
Hi I have a clown knife and an albino silver arowana but looking to add a Goliath and an Armatus would they be ok together ??
I think you'll have better luck with several of each. I have one goliath and one armatus and they're very feisty with one another.
Awesome video! I'd like to get a tank like this one day.
what happens when they get big?...
What kind of substrate are you using in the rhombeus tank?
Hi, that substrate is by a brand called 'Unipac' and that particular one is called Senegal I think, they have stopped doing that one now but saying that there is some similar
Nice! How big are the ATF's?
Hey Bro!!
They are all averaging around 12" currently...
Nice! U grow them together and how long did it take?
NChync 4 vittatus was grown together by someone else to around 6"
I grew Goliath and another Vittatus
NChync 8months
Cool. Guess it'll be awhile before my guys get that big. Can't wait tho.
the pack of vittatus is awesome..
Thanks. They are even more awsome right now because since this video they are even bigger and have triangular teeth like daggers
What is a feed your vampire fish
Beautiful tank!
Hey man, Thankyou
What is the tank size?
Where did you get that tank from
Hey man! still got the fire eel?
+Louis Lim Unfortunately not my friend. I lost the eel from just one day in a temporary tank while moving house..... he was a very big eel so was strong enough to move the lid and get out the tank, dried out while I was at work and died
JEEZE! fancy finding you on here.
Still got these?
No worries man.....I have him in a 180 with a variety of fish will he eventually stop growing...he's semi aggressive and about 11 inches now....I'm just worried he will eat my other fish....but you are absolutely awesome!!!!!

Awesome fish.
Thank ma bro
what a great tank!
+Samsun55 Thankyou!
how you train them eating pellets?
Avon Tan Starve the fish for 5 days, stand at a distance and throw pellets in one at a time.
Avon Tan and keep trying untill successful, can take a while
Awesome tank. Who made it? How about a walk through of you equipment etc? Steel stand?
DARREN CARTER
DARREN CARTER the tank is machine bevelled glass and was made by me and some tank builders from wharf aquatics. I made the stand it's actually a cabinet has deep storage behind every door, the main filtration is outside in a shed all designed and commissioned by my self. I'll try do a walk through soon
Thanks
how come you tiger fish and gars dont figth
What size tank
Tiger fish are known for taking chunks of meat out of larger fish. Has anything like that happened to you?
How tall is that stand
nice setup! Looks like the Goliath don't get a look in for the pellets with those Vitts!
+jonny jones Thanks man, the Goliath is blind in one eye and struggles to locate with as sharp reactions as the vittatus do to food. But this helps lower his aggression to all the others which i consider a good think really.
it's easy, all my fish eat pellets, flakes, bloodworms. and I only give them feeders once or twice a year.
what do you use for lighting ash.
+Franzen Macatantan On this tank i use a marine LED light by EcoTech, 'Radion'
Thanks, sorry I did not reply early
What do you feed your payaras?
+BboySouI Hi. I feed my Payara only dead food...... raw atlantic king prawns and frozen lance fish
+ASHthaCHRONICerb When and how did you get your payara to eat those? I'm currently trying to get mine off of live feeders.
its a nightmare isnt it. ive trained many payara to feed dead and yes.... it aint easy. you have to do it at juvenile stage, do not feed any live unless they go over 2 weeks not feeding then live feed for a few days and try again, i always used market prawn, have a wave maker in the tank.... the payara shoal in the flow of water, when you drop a prawn above the wave maker it runs like a live fish and the payara start to notice it. after a while they eventually strike it like they naturally would in the wild. after that once feeding dead.... never live feed them ever again, and also they will start to feed just from it dropping in the tank
+ASHthaCHRONICerb Yes it is! Thank you for the tip. I'll try it asap. Hopefully it works for me.
ok no problem atall. keep me updated, I can be late with replies as i am a very busy guy. keep trying with them till you crack it....
wait do u have goliath tiger fish
no u wait!
Awesome just awesome
Thankyou very much
Beautiful 💕 tank
Hey bro..! your video is not available to view...
The only thing I suggest is don’t keep the arowana with the tiger fish beacuse I’ve seen that go wrong in somebody else’s tank
why are they so aggressive
Amazing 🍀
Hey man Thanks!
Wowwwww
Carnivore fish look nice but you want them to grow and feed them what they eat and look nice though little over stocked
cannot believe what i saw... wonder how could you trained feed those monsters with pellets... my goliath would rather eat nothing for a full week than eat pellets
+dhani pratama It takes time and patience, if you be persistent it will pay off in the end. I never live feed either
Nice!!!!
+Aquascaping Tenerife Thanks!
According to my view ,the fishes owner might be the really rich man. Because these species of the fishes are very expensive.
cool man
Tank size?
Paul Morgutia 8ft x 3ft 390.6 USgallon 1,519.6 Litres
+ASHthaCHRONICerb I'm super jealous, I have a regular 175gallon.
Hey bro. I understand the feeling, this hasn't happened over night for me.... I started with a small tank undergravel filters and a tiger oscar dreaming of monsterfish
+ASHthaCHRONICerb we all started small then. haha
I started out with a 20 gallon long tank with 8" dojo loach and a 2" Tiger Shovelnose Catfish.
haha nice! yeah.... was a kid in a bedroom once and thats how my fishkeeping started, but now im a man i do what i want and if i want to build a big custom aquarium in my house n fill it full of tigerfish...... i will do! aha
i wish i could give this vdeo fucking 5 hands up
+Reid Smith Thanks my bro!!!
pellets? wow
yes bro.... pellets. 3 different types of pellets
+ASHthaCHRONICerb Hey man you should get those sinking carnivore pellets in the 2 lb bag. Those little bags go to fast and will bleed you dry. I think it's like $60, but worth it.
Your music choice is atrocious, but on mute it's great!
BR catfish
+Diego Ramon I have a big Tigrinus in there now bro
