Not in the North of Australia mate , all the water fresh or salt has crocks . How do you think the crocks move from river to river , it's not by walking .
The saltwater crocodile or "salties" are much worse than sharks when they attack because sharks not always attacks humans on purpose but the crocodiles see humans as a prey 🤿🐊🩸💀
What a crock! (Pun intended) Australian here. There’s not a fence around that spot in the ocean. To believe there’s no crocs there. Yeah right. Up North, assume there’s a croc in every creek no matter how shallow. And a croc at every beach. I can tell you now. I reside way down on the South East coast. I wouldn’t dip a toe in any water source up north.
My condolences to Russell family and friends sad. Watching the beauty under the ocean is beautiful all GOD'S handy work. It draws people to explore, but Australia ocean very dangerous.
I have always been obsessed with crocodiles.... for as long as I can remember, I have had nightmares about my death with these reptiles... premonition? Memories of my past life?? 🤷♂️😣 that's why I try to stay away from oceans, rivers and lakes
Sharks rather eat fish, seals, and so on. Humans usually don't get eaten unless it's breeding season or their pregnant and can't get to prey fast enough. Just remember sharks usually eat at dusk or real early in the morning. I live on the water, I've caught a couple baby bull sharks while fishing and going for Chesapeake bay blue crabs 🦀. It's a fun fight but I always put them back.
Feel bad for this guy and his family and friends. When sharks attack people it’s generally because they think they’re grabbing a fat little seal but end up with a mouthful of bony human to spit back out, crocodiles though eat what ever they can catch.
Such a very sad story. I really wish the 2 guys would have stayed together very close because maybe they could have both fought off the croc. I am sure they would of both been injured, but alive. How terrible.
@ravenfeader people that go out in the ocean or rivers, really need to protect themselves better. They need to go loaded with something at least so all of them can be protected and there wouldn't be so many fatal attacks.
@@donnakeyes4517 That's all well and good until you come up against a stealthy ambush predator that makes it's living in the water . Most people are not aware until it's got them and with a big crock at that size if you don't see it you're toast. Like the survivor in this story , didn't see or hear anything even though he was right there . Only protection you have in Crock waters is stay out of the water and away from the banks .

This crocodile attack is pretty unusual being in the ocean like this, normally its in a murky river. Pretty crazy
Not if it's a saltwater 🐊

So you liked and pinned your own comment which is not even a valid information hahaha wtf.
Saltwater crocodiles, swim in saltwater all the time, they go from island to island
Guess who is never going to Australia. Sharks and crocodiles. Spiders that look like crab. Snakes. Thanks but no thanks.

What a horrible tragedy.
Rest in peace, Russell.
My deepest condolences to al uf his loved ones.

Did he say 15 feet!! Thats a big ass crocodile
Ikr 😳😳😳😳two feet from the size of a 🦕
Lolonģ was 20ft3in.long.
15 isn't huge for a saltie

Same here ever since I was a little kid

That’s why I carry bear spray when I go snorkeling 😂
Excellent video

15ft crock you have no chance even with 10 guys , who ever gets grabbed is gone .

You don't go in the water near Darwin.
You shouldn’t go in the water anywhere in Australia 😳
As soon as I heard Australia 🌏🤦 condolences to the families ❤
It's really not as bad as people make out, but up that way you're stupid to go in the ocean
Went from hero to zero
No doubt. Swimming with his bf then becoming lunch.
5:00 When it attacks.
What are u talking about??? That wasn't an attack

How was it worth it to get eaten alive?
Didn’t know David hasslehoff was in the story?
I’ve worked on Groote Eyelant and close by at Gove. I would rather swim in a cup of spit than put my toes in the water there.
What makes it worse is that the croc was deadly.
U make 0 sense. ALL CROCS have the potential to be dangerous so ur "point" is irrelevant and asinine

Unsuccessful attempt
The only thing crocs are good for are shoes, belts and handbags 😅
What are they doing in water known for crocodiles? Play stupid games, get stupid prizes.
They should only shoes and handbags
You know...
Sometimes there are reasons why animal abuse exists.

It’s not a globe, and you’re not a Jedi.
Being a free spirit got russ ass killed and grow up
I hate Crocs ,Alligator, Snakes and Monitor Lizards. something about them that makes ne hate them .
Reptiles have dead-brain, rarely tamed and eat everything and sees us as prey.
Why the long drawn out fireside chats?
Oh well 😊
