      Most people do not know that one effective safety items to be used during any bite from any reptile is actually very simple and that is for reptile owners in general to keep a small bottle of strong drinking alcohol such as whisky or vodka with its cap loose by the reptiles cage side in case a bite occurs. The drinking alcohol itself actually burns the reptiles gum lines for an instant release of the bite when poured on the gum lines of the bite area itself. Simply by pouring the strong drinking alcohol on the gums of any reptiles gum lines during the course of a bite makes any reptile release their grip of the bite causing no further harm to the human nor reptile alike. Where pulling off the snake from the actual bite does cause further damage to both. So in response to the question, I would rather be bitten and constriction started by a non venomous snake than be bitten by a venomous snake in which the venom could start taking a deadly turn for the worst.

    They said that the third snake who killed the boys hadn't been fed in a whole day. Snakes usually only eat once weekly at the most unless their meals are unusually small. That snake was probably way underfed for way more than a week or more. It was completely the snake owners fault and responsibility. 100percent.

      Very true I’m not an expert but when I was younger I had a ball python and an iguana which is a herbivore however the python feed on live mice but mine was only about a foot long my older brother hard a 2 foot long ball python which ate live rats which are bigger it would eat one sometimes 2 rats depending on how big the rats were so an 100lb snake they said was 14 feet had too be under feed to lose so much mass to go from not fitting too fitting into a vend besides if it was properly fed it wouldn’t be searching for food even with food right in front of it for example an Albino Burmese Python which I wanted get massive an if it where hypothetically to eat a human it would not eat again for months so the fact that his snake was searching for food meant it hadn’t eaten in days or weeks not a day most reptiles don’t eat daily snakes, lizards and gators

      @@africaisking7817the two I have in my home I do enjoy as pets and they are both very rare and very expensive African species that again obviously your country ships over for nothing more than financial gain as pets which contradicts your own statement actually. If they were not shipped throughout the world as pets, then I would have totally agreed with you 100 % within your comment. I was raised from childhood with every species of snakes and many other reptiles. I worked in the field under Dade county sheriff's office commander Mr. Jeff Griggs removing all species of snakes with my overall experience from all over Dade county and the Florida Everglades after hurricane Andrew had demolished two of the largest AFRICAN python breeding facilities in all of the United States before it was known after the hurricane that the wild breeding population of AFRICAN and Indian pythons started breeding in the wild here sometimes even between each other from both countries. Commander Jeff Grigs has since been employed by the water management of south Florida and currently is employed with the Florida Fish and Wildlife division continuing to remove these snakes throughout Florida today.
      But no, neither myself nor any of my family fears any species of snakes nor other species of reptiles and frankly never had with our experience and backgrounds. We keep safety equipment here at all times that has worked escaping all species of snake bites that we had endured over the years with total and with ease escaped all python and boas grasp of their bites without further harm to us or the snakes alike. Both my AFRICAN pythons here are both females and though I do not plan on breeding snakes ever again being retired now ever again ON A LARGE SCALE ANYHOW, AGAIN They ARE BOTH EXTREME RARE and expensive AND I DO PLAN AS SOON AS I CAN on buying a very rare male African python in the near future with my two females becoming breeding age and size but those are the last snakes i will ever have again. I Just fully disagree with you when you say they are deleted there when the Africans not only have breeding pits utilized to put captured gravid females in to collect the eggs only to hatch out and make massive amounts of money by doing so shipping them to countries world wide again as pets and again for the pet industry. Therefore Africa does not "delete" the snakes but again they make a lot of money by selling them as pets to the other countries. I also take it that the narrator who left a comment below yours is from the UK based of course on some of his wording utilized in this video that is not utilized in any other country world wide like where I was raised before coming to Florida to reside. If so, even in the UK that I know for a fact imports a lot of African species for the pet industry and has a lot of breeders themselves throughout the UK producing AFRICAN species on a yearly basis.
      I have friends in the UK again being raised there who steadily breed African Species year after year.

      The only thing I disagree with is the videos which are often done by various RUclips narrators is that knowledge of the species is very limited in the videos presented. A example for instance in this video was mentioning of reticulated pythons while most of the live video footage of snakes in this video had been green anacondas (also known as water boas) from other countries not mentioned in video , he also shows video footage of Burmese pythons, Indian rock pythons, Columbian boa constrictors , African rock pythons and even a large ball python.
      Very little of the video footage from other video creators are of the reticulated pythons he mentions in the video that had been responsible for killing and eating humans. By doing so, it just overall confuses many about the different species in which some species has never been known to contribute to the deaths and consumption of humans anywhere and as a result of showing video footage of snakes from different regions who have not contributed to human deaths and the general fear many have about snakes in general unfortunately contributes to millions of snakes deaths that are harmless every single year due to certain snakes dangerous behaviors therefore that is the only thing I disagree with in videos such as this. Besides that factor and if nothing more, I respect the fact that certain dangerous animals are mentioned for the viewers who do pay attention to the species names if nothing much so people can avoid these specific animals no matter where they are in the world .

      Hi Jennifer, I have bred and was employed working with all species of snakes. I assume that you are referring to corn Cobb often utilized by inexperienced reptile keepers. If one was to research the best substrates to utilize for each species of reptiles, you would read from those with years of expertise that substrate that has no loose particles within are best for snakes health. Loose substrate contributes to accidental deaths of many species in captivity and this actually goes for most reptiles in general. Even the astroturf , indoor and outdoor carpets in a way would be similar to clothing in a sense. Particles shred off the edges of it resulting in getting caught in the animals system that upon build up contributes to many reptile deaths. Even today I keep reptiles after 30 plus years that I have bred them in captivity though I am fully retired now and no longer keep hundreds of reptiles at my home and facility, I still have 25 reptiles around me at any given time . I hope this bit of information is helpful to you. Have a great day.

    A little bit disappointing that they used the same "actual footage" for different stories... That makes me doubt the legitimacy of some of the conent now. They also showed some pictures of a Burmes python when talking about Reticulated species. Anyways, I guess we'll have to be forgiving on the accuracy of some details.

      A snake that large is a danger to not only people but animals that are needed in places like these. And to bring it back to people a child wouldn’t have a chance against a snake that large. A 22 foot snake needs to eat a lot to survive.

    • @campbloodkilla
      @campbloodkilla 10 месяцев назад

      @@tiffinyanderson4403 snake wouldn’t be killed had it not have been captive and put in that situation in the first place. I agree some animals that have tasted human flesh or are exposed to a potential human meal may need to be banished but to kill this one just seemed wrong when it didn’t eat the children. If it ate the children then of course you’d want to retrieve the bodies but theirs one just doesn’t seem right to leave the guy with less of a penalty than the snake.

      @@campbloodkilla I think you may be missing out on what I meant. A snake of that size eats a lot. Meaning goats, sheep, deer, hogs, dogs etc. I don’t think a snake gets a taste for humans but again a snake that large was bound to cross a boundary at some point or hunted for taking livestock etc. these people live hard lives and they can’t afford to loose their animals. I hope that makes more sense at least from my pov.

    Its a shame to lose a human life but its also ashame that we are the reason we put ourselves into danger. People keeping snakes as pets that have no idea what they are doing we are destroying the natural habitat just like us they need to eat so they have to go where food is and that can being them close to us. Also to kill them because you don't like them is dumb to i hate snakes but i also know how important they are as predator and prey in the ecosystem.
