@@ThePenguinsfly21 the first levitation he does is called the balducci levitation. The one where you can see his feet is a suspension. The girls are watching him do the same levitation (balducci) that he did before. They cut footage of a suspension in. I love David Blaine, but I didn't care for the deceptive editing in this part of the special.

It’s a wire shot. He actually did a balducci trick too, and that’s the reactions he got, but then they edited the video to pair it with him doing crane assisted levitation. There’s an article about it written by magicians who debate whether tv magic using camera editing is still magic

You never see him levitating with his feet and the entire audience in the same shot. It's either one or the other.

@@angeltiburcio3480 What they mean is, you don't actually see his feet leave the ground in the same shot as the audience reacting to it. They're reacting to a trick, but it's one that is not nearly as impressive as he's suggesting in the shots where his feet actually leave the ground.

He comes off a few inches going up with his toes hiding behind his other foot which is all the way off the ground. The scenes where it shows him all the way off the ground is with actors after the fact. Only shows their backs..then it's all spliced in together. There's a reason you never see a scene with his body all the way off the ground with the front of the people looking..
if there was such a scene people would find out he actually has magical powers. so he pretends like it's a trick
You can see that at 3:21. Notice the lady with the white shirt, her arm is loose on her sleeve, but in the shots from the back, the arm is tight in the sleeve and also the sleeve looks different. So yeah, all spliced and actors.
