Man.. heard this song a few days ago in a gas station for the first time (Aug of 2018) and dug the melody.. i have watched so many live versions of it since.
The 3 part harmony is killer.. all 3 players compliment each other so well. Ingrid's vocals are so on point, and not to mention her technique in treating a microphone like a musical instrument (which it is) which seats her perfectly in the mix..
Allie is a killer vocalist guitarist as well.. she can do everything Ingrid can which is important, and she allows her guitar to speak to the harmony. - and no disrespect to the gentleman playing, I haven't been able to identify him by name but man he uses great chord voicings and adds a beautiful compliment to the harmony.
Im fanboying hard but in a time where popular music seems electronic, soulless and hopeless its great to see 3 musicians playing and smiling together; the fact that they are so good is a bonus.
Respect.

This is my favorite performance of "Girls Chase Boys" on RUclips - she's so relaxed and having so much fun. Her voice just bursts out of the music like it's in 3D!
I agree, I have seen her play this song in other performances and she seems very stiff there. Here she was totally carefree and I love how her hands do a little dance throughout the performance, like she keeps thinking about grabbing the mike then changing her mind lol.
