Listening to the album right now before I start watching the video. Something about the artwork plus the name of the album gave me a visceral reaction, one of those strange feelings in your gut. So I turned the album on, and I don't think I can remember the last time a song affected me like The Big Gloom affected me. I can already tell that this is one of those special albums that only comes around every few decades

Absolutely fantastic essay, deathconsiousness may by far be the most captivating music in terms of capturing existential themes of meaning and death.
I'm a firm follower of Absurdism and still is Agnostic. Simply be and living the present, is the only truth for subjective experiences of human consciousness. Because the present exists. And death, will be in the present, someday. For while we still here, we can feel what it likes to be a human, as a living being that yearns for a life worth living.
And this album's conveyance of pointlesness in death, reflects on me what it is to live. Even in gloomest apathy and desperation, one still yearn to survive, to rebel against death and absurdity. Value something in the tangible world, is the way of the absurd hero, no matter how cruel life would be. Wether to wallow in desire or value something above yourself, for what it's worth, it is wholy considered better, than nothing

coming here to congratulate you for this masterpiece of a video. honestly, I'd not say I'm a huge fan of this album but I ultimately get everything in it and your analysis only makes me understand better how incredible of an album it truly is. can't wait to see a lot more of your videos in this style, diving deep into an album and analyzing every bit of it. this is fantastic.

@REALZEN111 really dig your channel, just watched your "disturbing song" iceberg video..probably will make a Spotify playlist of these songs. Glad to see Nurse With Wound and Crass made the list! Crass actually has some great music thats less disturbing than that song, deff some of the best anarcho punk to ever come out of the UK!

surprised i didn’t think of making one of those myself 😅 it’s so cool seeing everyone finding new music through the video though and i’m glad it’s been having such a strong impact
as for crass they are definitely one of my favorite bands i’ve gotten to recently discover. nagasaki nightmare was a disturbing yet intriguing introduction and i’ve been appreciating their works so much more overtime. they deserve all the praise
