@@binksninja no when you build a gaming PC you just put about half your budget into a graphics card. Also that wouldn't make someone that much better at a game. Many your just bad but anyone who's watched enough PC videos we'll know that you put a lot of money towards your graphics card.

@@theolol1871 for gaming, not really, you wont need the 2 extra cores in 95% of the games.
@@elocity1967 Yes and no. Yes because a small (mATX) motherboard usually won't have 2 slots for GPU in case you wanna run 2x RTX 2080 @ SLi, for example, so you might hit a limit there (even if the board is SLi capable, I wouldnt recommend it, everything would be too cramped). But in most cases, no, because the quality of the components for a PC up to high end will be the same. You will have an easier time setting up good airflow in a bigger case tho, of course, so I wouldn't recommend setting up a very powerful PC in a small case unless you absolutely need to.
@@elocity1967 Honestly, if you can get it and afford it (stock is super low here in argentina so the prices are ridiculous atm), its the best choice price-performance wise.
@The Sweeper IF you don't care about RTX and can get a 5700XT with good cooling, they're probably a lil stronger, between 2060s and 2070s. The brand doesnt matter that much imo, they all have "regular" versions and better cooling versions.
you're the best person to watch building a gaming pc,you show every step by step how to install everything and overclocking. Even if its a low budget build it still runs very smooth no lagging

Just purchased all the parts for this PC build. It's going to be my first ever build. I'm 15 years old and have wanted to build a PC for as long as I can remember, but I've never had the money do so. I remember when I used to be the person in the comments saying "I don't have enough money to buy this" and thought I never would. If you feel the same way that I was back then, don't worry. Try to save as much as you can and eventually you'll have enough to build your own. Also thank you Joey for making such an easy video to follow. 😁

Great build. Have all parts on the way to build for my son. Would love to see an upgraded build with additional storage as well. Really awesome tutorial Joey. Thanks for the good effort. I really appreciate the complete setup including all of the downloads. This will be my first build but after watching, have the confidence to do a build. Will build an upgraded version for myself if I don’t muff it up
@xQ Xility Build went fine but had some high temp issues. My son wanted the small case size for taking back and forth from grandparents. After a couple of weeks, I stripped everything from the case and put into a small NZXT. Installed the fan from my Ryzen 7 and haven't had an issue with temp since. If you are a console gamer with some cash in your pocket looking to re-live your favorite games in modern quality, this PC is way more than what you need.

You could have easily went with a Sata M.2 SSD or a lower end NVME for around $100 for 1TB. While it's not full speed NVMe, that speed is way overkill for majority of uses and could easily save you a big chunk of money or allow you to get a much larger drive which is going to be way more useful to the average person. You could have also used the extra towards a better GPU.

@@elocity1967 It depends. You can fit beefier components, better cooling system in a bigger case. A smaller case limits how you can upgrade your pc and if you want a highly powerful machine that will run hot like high end processors, then you need a bigger case. Otherwise, make sure your components fit in the case and there wont be any performance difference.
TL/DR: You need bigger case for better, beefier components, otherwise, performance is the same

The problem with good hardware in this case is that the gpu side and cpu side are completely separate from one another, in turn there is no airflow over the components whatsoever.
