As a filmmaker, i really love this video. So many metaphors (we call it semiotics) that seem to be so seamless in transition. If you slowly follow the video, you will realize that all colours were dominant in bright red and orange. But as the music goes, everything that Sigrid touched and looked, even the lights turn dark blue. Sigrid also took off her jacket from red to blue. Sigrid expressions also seemed to change as she continues singing the song, from happy to sad, you can see from the very last shot she almost cried, very contrast from the beginning of the video. note: Red means love and blue means sadness in this video
Oh my lord, thank you for pointing these out, I was wondering if I missed something in the video, since this version and the TV version is slightly different (also I heard her singing 'I'm a little suicidal but don't feel like crying') and I was so confused but so focused on her movements, but now I see the bigger picture LOL! As minimalist as this music video is, I appreciate how it captures the hidden melancholy and sadness behind the song. To me, it represents how whenever one is going through a sad/dark time, there are sometimes beautiful moments of distraction where we can put on music, dance around in our loneliness and tell ourselves that "wallowing in it would be such a waste." But - unfortunately - once the moment has finished, we are still left to deal with those feelings on our own. I think Sigrid conveyed this brief moment of happiness even while her solitariness and sadness are in the background amazingly.
Room goes from red to blue to show that despite all the times we say "Wallowing in it would be such a waste" we are still sad and ultimately lonely throughout.
You can see her and everything around her get sadder and bluer as the video goes on. As it ends you see her dancing desperately to hold on to the momentary relief she felt at first, even though everything is blue and somber. The more I watch this the more I relate to it. Excellent symbolism

It has been two months since I first listen Sigrid and now I’m more than sure that she’s my favorite singer and idol, inspiration and everything. I love you Sigrid 😍
The different elements change colour when Sigrid interacts with them! First she climbs up and dances on the chairs, and they turn blue. Then she lies down on the carpet, and when she gets up it turns blue. Then she sits at the fish tank, and the painting next to her turns blue, and the next time she looks through the fish tank the tint is blue instead of orange. Then finally, she stands at the window, and the blinds have turned blue. It's a very cool way of subtly shifting the mood of the room while she dances in it.

The different elements change colour when Sigrid interacts with them! First she climbs up and dances on the chairs, and they turn blue. Then she lies down on the carpet, and when she gets up it turns blue. Then she sits at the fish tank, and the painting next to her turns blue, and the next time she looks through the fish tank the tint is blue instead of orange. Then finally, she stands at the window, and the blinds have turned blue. It's a very cool way of subtly shifting the mood of the room while she dances in it.
