Hello all welcome to this evening's Bonza Flight review launch! I will be here monitoring the comments over the next hour in real time in lure of an offical live premiere so please do leave your thoughts and comments down below! I Really hope you enjoy this very unique experience with Bonza!
Glad I fell over you . Nice honest Aussie review .Cant wait for them to get to WA ideally from Darwin and also some facility on the app to send belly load freight have subscribed thanks for your rreview
Thanks for watching Phil -thrilled you enjoyed it mate and thanks for your support of my channel! Yep I am Defs keen on Bonza doing some WA routes so Tim Jordan if you see this a few suggestions could be Cairns to Broome and Sunshine Coast to Margaret River, Newcastle to Perth or maybe even Gold Coast to Perth ( or Western Sydney Airport to Perth when that airport finally opens!). If they ever did start a Darwin base a Perth flight would be nice too!
Thanks so much for watching @thewindowseat77 and your kind feedback. Thrilled you like my new format style and the changes I’ve made to my videos. Here’s to many more of them! And as always likewise very much enjoy your reviews too - think your channel will really start going places this year! :)
Awesome trip report mate, hope you enjoyed MCY... the reason we have the "tentals" as you stated are due to our terminal being so small and not being able to cope having high amounts of pax in the terminal. They are there to decrease the amount of people in the terminal in whatever way possible... we are due for a terminal expansion which is underplans atm Haha
Thanks mate really glad you enjoyed my first Bonza review! Thanks for providing the background behind the tent set up. Great to see the airport doing so well with passenger numbers sounds like an expansion is due like you pointed out! Hopefully they bring back international flights there soon too!
@@AussieJetSetter Air New Zealand is Seasonal at the moment which eventually will become all year round one day… but will good for more international routes to come next few years
Thanks for confirming I did try and find this flight as a possibility to fly Auckland to Sunshine Coast direct but didn’t see any flights around my travel dates
Thanks for watching thrilled you enjoyed it mate! Yes you are correct I believe they are owned by 777 Partners which is a US investment firm. I think they also own Flair Airlines in Canada hence why they probably have the wet lease aircraft currently in Australia!
Thanks for watching! Yes sounds like that with all those extra passengers with the basing on Bonza there it looks like the terminal may have have outgrown itself!
Thanks for watching I haven’t flown on either airline so can’t tell for sure but Bonza’s business model is rather unique as a low cost airline that operates Point to point between regional designations not usually served before. Everything is done around there app so it’s quite a modern airline model!
A shame they seem to hate NSW. If they can fly to Tulla, they can fly to Sydney, frankly. However, there are very few NSW flights, Wollongong is closer to Sydney than Newie, and can handle a 737, AFAIK. Hopefully, if they're still around, they'll fly out of the Western Sydney Airport to cover Sydney customers wanting to go somewhere regional, not served by QLink or Rex.
Thanks for watching and your perspective. Think the problem with Sydney being such a centrally located airport is it’s difficult for new players to get slots as price of getting them is very steep compared to most of the regional airports they visit! I assume the cost of entry is cheaper at Tulla but I don’t know for sure. Syd airport is pretty well beyond capacity as far as I understand so it’s probably just a matter of supply vs demand pushing Bonza out of Syd market at moment but I’m sure they will pounce on WSA when it opens. Your right though they should be looking at Wollongong!
Love it mate! Hope to fly Bonza someday soon! Maybe $49 is actually true and Bonza being a good low cost airline as here in the USA 🇺🇸 low cost means the likes of Spirit or Frontier Airlines they pretend to be cheap but then charge you an arm and leg for everything else aboard! Cheers mate! 🥂 Also plz check out my video flying on Frontier Airlines my longest low cost flight and first ever Frontier flight ✈️ linked here: ruclips.net/video/LcHkZDxy2OE/видео.htmlsi=PK5y_cTJ4EJpYZOX -Caleb’s Aviation
Thanks for watching Caleb. $49 is absolutely true mate and that’s Aussie dollars so only like $33USD! Very sadly however Bonza went into voluntary administration only earlier this week as there small fleet of planes were repossessed (they are owners by same American investment firm that owns Flair in Canada. Fingers crossed 🤞 they can be saved but it’s not looking good :( everything was buy on board on Bonza (from your phone) but was surprisingly quite affordable. Yes always been intrigued about the US ULCC’s such as Frontier, Allegiant and Spirit I’ll be sure to check it out! Feel free to join my Discord server if want to join the channel community too :)
@@AussieJetSetter Thanks mate! Yeah Frontier was an ABSOLUTE JOKE! I still love any flight don’t get me wrong but it want pleasant, I do hope to try Southwest someday soon though as even though they aren’t a ULCC they are still a budget airline I hear does everyone the right way! I’ll be flying to Colorado Springs, Colorado this summer! Also plz leave a comment on my Frontier video if you enjoy it!

No they certainly didn’t. Not at all unexpected to be honest but quite sad nonetheless. A lot of livelihoods with both staff and travellers have been affected here. Your right some concerning reports in the media that the airline New more than what they were letting on before the public grounding.

I am so excited to see the Vline train review video 😆! I'm telling you i will for sure enjoy it!
Great review of Bonza! Never knew much about this airline before watching this video. Hoping they have some routes in WA soon to places like Broome!
Thanks for watching James. Great I was able to fill you in on some of the details and what it is like to fly Bonza!
Absolutely love the thumbnail Stephen! Good to see you having fun! 😁
Thanks @Trainaddixtion512 for your feedback on the thumbnail glad you liked it! 😃
@@AussieJetSetterI sure did

Great review of your Bonza flight, thanks. Bonza has marketed themselves as all Aussie however they are 100% American owned as is Virgin Australia

For more room &space im guessing the outdoorish terminal i was there i January

Looks like a very nice modern looking aircraft Bonza have there! 😎
Thanks for tuning in - certainly a bit more modern than your usual 737 800s operated by Qantas and VA!
Bonza is great! I flew on shazza 😊
I certainly agree on that one. Hopefully they can come over to the west coast so I have more opportunities to fly them in the future!
Is Bonza's model more like Ryanair or easyJet?

Ryanair 💀
@@AussieJetSetter well, now they collapsed apparently
Nah, there ain't no way this is $45. Bro really dared it 💀🤣
I’ve got the confirmation email to prove it! 😃

the flight looks empty this time.
It was a very empty flight mate probably only a quarter full I reckon!
@@AussieJetSetter though quite a few bonza flights did get pretty full though as people were in a taylor swift frenzy haha last week.
@@anguscovoflyer95 yeah I can imagine especially there flights to direct into Tullamarine!
