I started Linux with Debian 20 yrs ago, when d/l was difficult, i would buy the CDs, all 14 of them! And the xorg.conf was hand written so your video worked. Easy? No, but still rewarding

I don't know if I would get used to this it may be easy for beginners but it ain't the only one of it's kind I can't help it but to just use Garuda Linux it has all the things I need and the install ain't that hard especially for someone like me that's sadly so used to windows 10.:-/ (It's arch but done right in terms of user friendlyness)

Great video! Question: Should a Linux beginner start with Linux Mint or PopOS? I don't game. Used for business and video editing. If you recommend Mint to a beginner, do you suggest switching to PopOS eventually? Besides these 2 distros, what do you recommend? Or are these your top 2 recommendations? Thanks!!

Use Linux Mint if you want a more Windows like setup and you are fine with dealing with older applications than what Pop OS has.
Otherwise, I'd use Pop OS over Linux mint as long as you are willing to relearn the UI completely.

@@PizzaLovingNerd thank you! So would you say PopOS has the better interface in terms of functionality? I don't need it to be like windows. I just want what's most effective for business, documents, video editing etc

This is a personal preference thing, I recommend trying both in a VM and picking the one you like the most.
