Muzammil,I have been to Kenya, and believe me this is how Kenyan police works.They fire blindly.I know because a VIP was kidnapped, and the VIP himself told me that he was in the vehicle, when Kenyan police started firing on it,He was also shocked, but luckily he escaped.This is the quality of Kenyan police!!

Lost sleep over the shocking news of Arshad Sharif’s brutal murd3r in Kenya. The local newspapers of Nairobi are calling it a negligence on the part of the Kenyan police, who mistook him as some criminal involved in an abduction case. However, such encounters are always muddy and must be investigated to ensure that there wasn’t a state behind it.
Having said that, my condemnation of his murd3r doesn’t mean the endorsement of his journalism. He was the one who used to call for the elimination of Pushtoon and Baloch rights activists for criticising the oppression of the state. He was the one who called the Khar Qamar check post event ”kuttay mar muhim”. He was the one who spewed venom against all dissenting voices in the country, in favour of the establishment.
No he was not fighting a “just-war”. No he was not fighting for truth. He was just “their” asset who turned disloyal to them in favour of Khan and had to flee the country to escape their wrath. When you take their bait, you become their prisoner. He took it but he broke the prison. That’s all. But this shouldn’t stop us from condemning his murder since the right to live cannot be taken away by anyone on any pretext. May he rest in peace !

Arshad Sharif for his personal, greedy gains and name, opted to line with Establishment when Niazi was in power. After his fall, Arshad tilted and fully bowed for Niazi, crossing all redlines of journalism and humanity. As known, he condemned and cursed Niazi's political adversaries and not sparing even the Establishment. Faisal Wauda's press conference about Arshad's murder should open the eyes of ALL. A high powered national judicial inquiry commission must be made to inquire not only Arshad's murder but also the crimes of USA & UK based Youthias plus those fled abroad after their massive corruption under/in collusion with Niazi.

Well versed explanation.
Just one perspective of the mindset of the Police in the United States. I was asked to stop for a traffic violation in broad daylight on the California Highway by Highway Patrol. Since it was my first experience I thought I would take out my registration papers and driving license to help the police. The police immediately asked me to stay still and keep my hands visible. Then the police explained to me during the traffic police stop I should wait until the Police are at the window before taking out my papers. My friends told me you are lucky to be alive, whenever Police see people inside the vehicle are moving they assume a threat to their life and shoot to kill. Even today I am scared for my life when the Police stop my vehicle. I understood that every citizen is allowed to carry weapons in the United States, The police always shoot first to save their lives. It's a perspective not many would share with others living back home.

Scandinavian countries are much better to live in. A lot of freedom, almost zero crime rate and you hardly see police anywhere ( they are not allowed to carry firearms)
