I am between this Clark's rusticated and the Peterson new grange spigot B10 (more expensive). May main problem is that savinelli is too long to be around the house smoking
After two years of indecision or perhaps reserve, I finally purchased a Clark's for this year's ISPD. Looking forward to receiving it. Mine most likely will be dedicated to Virginias given geometry of the bowl. Yes, Cracker Jack was a favorite when I was a child. You always got a prize insider the box as well. That blend sounds intriguing. I was in their store a few years ago and picked up a few of their blends, nice little shop
Thanks Jim for your input. Good buy👍 I am certain you would enjoy the Savinelli Clark’s. Yes Virginia is wise choice of blend on this pipe. Maybe one day I would visit the Gatlin Burlier not only for the tobacco also to meet Richard the owner😊
Simply gorgeous pipe Nathan 😍👍 That is my favorite model from them. Total package in my opinion, lightweight, attractive shape, and beautiful stem. Thanks for showing it😊take care
Thanks & good to see you😊 as for pipes & tobacco blends 😀 yeah. What can I say I love variety. To be honest I do sneak another bowl or two during the week😉
I just received that pipe in the mail today. Lol I am smoking Peterson’s my mixture 965 in mine right now. Happy pipe smoking day. Have a blessed week my friend. John.
That looks like a really wonderful pipe my friend. I have just bought a Tin of Germain's special Latakia flake that you were smoking and boy am I glad I did, it's a lovely smoke, very satisfying.
Beautiful pipe and that tobacco sounds wonderful, I just love my aromatics and am always looking to try different blends, this one you describe sounds terrific. Have a great day.
Sir: Very much enjoyed your video and polishing tip was fantastic. Gent you mention from Gatlin-Burlier, Richard, is not, in fact, the owner, but he is the heart + soul of the establishment. You might want to check out a video Richard did with Dr. Alan Harrelson on his RUclips channel ‘The Pipe Cottage’. I have this pipe and I enjoy another aromatic from the Gatlin-Burlier with it called Tsar Michael. It’s two different cherries [I think a dark black cherry is one], some vanilla and something a bit nutty in background. I know it sounds quite sweet, but not the case and has, as you would imagine, a lovely room note. Be well.
Thank you Will for the info. I mistakenly assumed he is the owner, regardless i find him to be genuine & good soul. I will check out that video & Tsar Michael blend you kindly pointed out.
@@TheVapingPiperI just got mine and I’m enjoying a first bowl with it! Having some Mac Baren Burley London Blend in it…. You are right this pipe smokes wonderfully!
@@flavadog17 That is fabulous i am happy you are enjoying the pipe👌 I was actually reading about your blend the Mac Baren Burley London I might get one of those myself. Mind you it might take weeks till I receive it though😀 how are you enjoying it
The London blend was a nice change for me, it’s got a nice Coco flavor to it with some mild sweetness and a very faint bitter chocolate or dark chocolate type flavor note to it, I’m really enjoying it! I definitely recommend.
it is a good looking churchwarden indeed i fancy one of those myself 😊 The polishing agent you use, Renaissance micro crystalline wax polish & showed at 6:05 is a useful bit of info that i intend to use. Thank you Nathan. I would have loved to try the blend you smoked but unfortunately it is too complicated to arrange someone to bring it to me so i enjoyed watching you enjoying it 😊Regards. Daniel
Thanks Daniel. This Savinelli is widely available and not too expensive. The polishing tin I showed is marvellous it really brings back the original look & shine of the wood. I understand the difficulty in buying American blends I go through loops till I receive my blends. Daniel, I will send you some😊
Wonderful Mike, it is so nice when I receive feedback from other smokers that are smoking the same pipe I talking about. As you mentioned Boswells just today I ordered the No Bite Delite blend. It will take a long while till I can actually smoke it but I am definitely looking forward. I do have a few excellent Boswells in house blends that I ordered months ago that I’m looking forward to share my experience in the coming uploads.
Great video and review...ive just ordered the same pipe 😊 will arrive in a coupe of days, cant wait. I am new yo pipe smoking, whst tabacco would you recommend similar to that one as it sounds delicious thatbi could get inbthe UK. Msny thanks 🙏
American aromatics especially the old fashioned ones like the blend featured in this video are unique to the US market. The closest profile in the UK is the Majestic by Wilson of Sharrow
Hi, Just found your channel, very good content. I am trying to get away from vaping and back into pipes. The Gatliburlier is a very good Shop and have been there many many times. I have about 8oz.each of Cades Cove Cavendish ang Cherokee Cherry cellared since 2011. Might break them out soon😊 . If your are ever in the US and near Gatlinburg Shop by the Shop, Richard the Manager is a very interessant person. Could spenden the whole day there. Greetings from Germany.
Thanks Roach. I will review the Cades Cove as well. As for Richard yes I was told after I recorded this & my previous review on the mellow moonshine. He since left comments on some of my videos. I did Write some information about him and linked his RUclips channel the dread tyger during & in the description section of this video.
Yes I would agree Scotty. For 3 main reasons. First it is a churchwarden & can be smoked with a 6mm filter so less chances for tongue bite which can be a big turn off. Second although it is beautifully crafted it is not very expensive to be used as a 1st pipe. Finally, it smokes very well so your 1st pipe smoking experience would be a pleasant one.
One of my favorite pipes that Savinelli makes. Enjoy it bud
Thanks Roberto🙏
Can't seem to find one can you please help. Cheers.
GQ tobacco have it in stock John
