Will the eventual plan be to convert the rest of the I.C.E locos if this one proves to be a success ? What is the configuration of the drive train and does it use the motors for braking similar to its bigger mainline cousin's
The plan for now is to see how Graham performs. We think it’s fun to have lots of different types of traction! Bayhurst and John Rennie are just over 20yrs old and have seen relatively low usage so there is still plenty of life left in them!
Superb to see some real future-proofing on this lovely little line. I'll be following updates about this loco with interest.
