Some people really have nothing better to do than say hateful words. I feel like haters will always try to find a way to discredit an artist. Finding people who speak really good Hmong is hard to come by. It’s a dying language now, and I’ve learned to appreciate those who try to keep it alive. Honestly, I’m sure most of the people who complain about pronunciation and word usage aren’t even perfect in Hmong themselves. Also, for those who keep complaining about the rap part: Rap, from the very beginning, was never presented to be only made for people who can speak ‘properly.’ Rap allows artists to create and bring new meaning to words. I love this song. It’s about a man proving himself to the woman he loves. HMONG CULTURE, in general, is known to have many wives and forced marriages. This song sends a message that this new generation is about loving and dedicating to the ONE person. Whether you’re speaking in gibberish or perfect Hmong, the message is clear, and I’m all for it.
Haters hate because we know were gonna die lonely and single. So we're gonna bring a few people down with us before we die leaving no kids behind to carry their names
Well said!! Just like how the Hmong language has evolved depending on what country the Hmong people have lived in, I do believe that in the next generation and moving forward, Hmong is going to sound more americanized. It’s better to encourage rather than discourage those who are trying to learn like you said 👏🏼
Setting the lyrical bar for expressing proper passion. This is EXACTLY what every woman needs to hear from her lover. Keep the fire burning especially after the wedding! ❤👏👏👏
Oh my goodness! This song has been on repeat! Y’all did something here that was very unique in both lyrics and sound so I can’t stop listening ❤ Keep up the good work 👏🏼
How am I just now hearing this song. From the rap to the singing, the words are so sweet I can cry. I love it so much. Its been on repeat for me! Keep up the amazing work!
This song has been on repeat since it came out! The lyrics are well thought out and expressed so passionately. The flow, the melody and presentation is beautiful! Also!! My cousin Whitney and Nyab Thanee, are one of the couples in there!! ❤❤
You did great on the editing and I'm sure it will improve as you do more. Love the inclusion of lyrics (they are amazing and relatable), cause I love to read them. The song definitely told a story, an endless love and laughter with you -- as long as we communicate.
@@supafu There’s nothing impressive about the hmoob rap industry in general, very few song is a hit, when most of the these song, half or 75% of the song the verse don’t even rhythm and the Hmong language is lost among these Hmong rap artist. They try so hard to formulate their lyrics but the end result sounds like a little kids speaking cause grown-up speak a certain way and not a certain way. A lot of recycle words or repeated phrase. If I want to listen to Hmong poetry or be proud of my Hmong heritage I’ll just go listen to kw txiaj.
