Okay!!! Let me be HONEST! Moon and her husband have a creative side to them that I appreciate! However, all the other times that they expressed their art through creativity to me it was either cringe or cheesy. I didn’t like it. I expected MORE. It was just “typical” art/creativity. I wanted them to step it up, because I saw potential. NOW THIS!!! YASSSS!!! This was what I was expecting from them from like 2-3 years ago! I knew they got this! THANK YOU!!! Please continue on using your creativity and art skills like this! This is SO deserving to be praised on. This is what I wanted to see, and Moon and her husband served it! ❤

I loved that this was a tribute to the book, Memoirs of a Haunted Hmong Girl. All the details and symbolism entailed in this MV told a story that aligned with the lyrics of your song. At first, I just watched the visuals and later, I had to review your lyric video for this song. The more I watched and listened to it all, the more emotional I got. You know it's good when it gets you in your feels and it gives you goosebumps. Great collab!

I saw the music video first before reading the book. The video was beautifully constructed and intrigued me to read the book. As I suspected, all the trinkets (drawings, doll, sunflower) and everything in the music video (ivy, window, coffee table) made more sense after I read the book. The book is an easy read and I enjoyed the 24 hours I burned through it.
I’m not sure how much of the story is true or fictional but I sympathize and empathize for Moon and the Dragon Price.

This was so great! The song was already an emotional roller coaster, and now paired with this tribute MV for Moon’s book 😢 captured the book really well for me. The longing, the sadness, the deep love, the separation. the close up visuals did well in portraying what I thought felt like what Manee would remember about him… almost like a fuzzy dream. Ngl Banisher reminded me of Tae Yang for some reason 😂 can’t wait for the Hmong release of the book!

I would appreciate if you tell what these scenes are about. I watched twice and confused alot. Like a short description of what this video is all about in english. It very disturbing and creepy scenes that I probably avoid watching since I dont understand what it is about.
If you haven't read Moon Vang's book, "Memoirs of a Haunted Hmong Girl" this MV won't make alot of sense and will be confusing. The book is based on a true story - the book entails her personal past experience meeting, falling in love and then separation/parting with a dragon / zaj... In the spiritual realm.

I love maa vue music. Visuals were beautiful, but very confusing storyline. Just too many scenes cutting in and out. I'm guessing the Hmong girl is a ghost and the guy was taken away by her? The wife is the one in the beginning who has lost her husband forever??

There are great parts and some parts need improving. Too much stuff being show at once without defining what they represent.
It starts out great, but eventually confuse me. I watched it twice and think the woman in white is the shaman but it is questionable if she is as she does not separate the woman and the creature. I just concluded that she returns home since he is sitting alone at the end.
The story was beautiful and I'm sure lots of us became obsessed with it but sadly the book sucked at details. She never explained how it happened, when it started and such things like was she sick or passed out etc. Those are important. Especially the time difference in his world and up in reality. Maybe being Hmong we understand what happened but on a different culture or race perspective they're going to be confused and not appreciate the love story.
