Went thrifting in the rain round Ely yesterday, didn't pick up hardly anything the was going to stop at Emmaus charity shop near Cambridge but it was closed, heard they had a break in the night before, so sad
Very interesting finds this time…despite only being….only a few !! Never seen anything like those triangular dishes/ plates …before…very interesting!!!… love the white console bowl marked Birmingham!!!… You did so very well 👍👌… great video ..Sue
Charity shops usually change their stock on the shop floor every two weeks. They rotate their stocks from shop to shop and GT Yarmouth would definitely get the stock that the other shops could not sell . After Yarmouth it will probably be ragged. It’s the same in poorer towns.
Cute for me! 🐱 Bargain for a £1 you would easily pay £4 here in Scotland for something like that. You and Nic are so lucky with all these great prices you pay for things, 50p an item, Yes, please! 👏
We going to yarmouth next week for a few days have you the postcode for the charity shop .you brought some red nose day of me some time ago. .Have you been to Hunstanton quite a few charity shop Nice day out if the weather nice
No went out to early got back to late so give it a miss .There is a big charity shop on the Gapton hall round about near gorleston well worth a visit if you in the area again Thanks for reply .
I used to have some curtains exactly the same as the first pair in the 80’s and a sofa covered in the same fabric . Can’t remember the make I’m afraid .
Well you might not have got much but I loaded up LOL Hard to see details and of course depending on prices, but I bought an antique vinagrette bottle and sugar sifter, all the bells hehehee (50p?!) Then at 6:22 there's a very intriguing tea set and a 60s mint sauce pot by United Pottery. And I think up the back there's a tiiiiny hint of a Wynncraft apple sauce and mustard sauce though they should have lil teak caddies. You better go back and check for me LOL
Never know about that Maggie Gallen fused glass. Seems to sell better in the USA. I think your egg cups might be Arthur Douglas. Like the triangle plates. They have a Memphis style.
I did a quick search on the glass but nothing came back. It was quite heavy and would have been tricky to package so I’d only have bought it if it was really worth doing.
Stall 69 beat me to it, but I was going to say those yellow triangle plates are Memphis style, also Art Deco inspired. Aka post-modernism, a high end style from the 1980s. I would put Memphis as a keyword. For the right person, it might be exactly what they are looking for, I would price them at £35 with offers. But they would be bought for the design, not the brand. So best to include keywords regarding the shape, colour, style etcetera. There was a fashionable woman on BBC 1’s ‘interior design challenge’ show last night whose whole home was decorated like that, retro Memphis style is pretty on trend if niche.
We live near to where the Dudson factory was and see it on a regular basis in charity shops but don’t buy it as there is no market which is a shame as it is quality stuff, they supplied restaurants and hotels 😊
I quite like the grumpy cat 😂 not bad for £1

Thanks. Always a great vlog. 🙂 Have a great week.
The shed looks great. I’m from this area and never heard of it before. Dying to know where it is? 😂
opposite Filby Shops. Shes open weekends 10-4 i believe. Normally has a sign on the path outside
Thanks for replying… we’ve only been to Filby once, so I wouldn’t have a clue 😆

I’ll try doing a Google photo search and see if it brings anything back 🙂
Cute cat ❤

It’s in Filby
@@andreahills74 ah nice, I didn't realise they had one
Liked this ❤😊
We went charity shopping in Great Yarmouth a few weeks ago. Never again! It was really dirty and full of unsavoury characters.
LOVE THE CAT, I WOULD PAY 3X THAT FOR IT
Thank you, lovely.

Interesting. I’m hoping the style will sell them 🙂
Gosh, that first charity shop would have taken me 3 minutes, what a load of trash.
You’ve got to hunt for the gems wherever you go and I found a couple 🙂
I'd die for that cat! 😄
It’s for sale if you’d like it 😆
Cute
Should have read all the comments first .
