Thanks for watching! Yeah, they don't actually give you instructions on the other 2 setups in the manual. Sort of a look at the website pictures and figure it out.
Yes, having options are always good. The V setup is definitely stiffer with the stock springs and shocks. You'd need to get softer springs to soften it up. The traditional setup really depends on your shocks, springs and shock angle positioning same as most other trucks.
Yes, I have some already added, and the videos will be coming. I also have a few newer upgrades that they released on the way as well! Thanks for watching!
No it does not. To have that kind of setup with the cage, you'd probably have to use some shock keys off the frame rails and have the shocks angle forwards.
It may have been Harley designs and scale builders guide, they were not to enthused about it. I see it as a improvement on the other kits as there are more options for a scale builder. Your able to fit a full 3/4 interior and full depth bed.
Yes it's a decent platform. I mean it's pretty much very close to the SCX10.2, but with a different transmission, motor location, and prettier looking "RockJock" axles. Cantilevers too if you decide to go that route. I would say the only downside is that there are no overdrive options if you want to keep the stock transmission and axles. Other than that, I like the rig a lot, and was actually planning on running it again, but I'm waiting for some parts before I do.
The Cantilever setup has a bit more articulation but limits you to the 313mm wheelbase. The V setup is stiffer with the same springs/shocks, but also a little more stability with the ability to change wheelbase lengths. The Cantilever setup does improve with the swaybar added.
Yeah.... I didn’t know you could do that. Very cool 😃👍🏻
good option mate, the cantilever system is very soft for my taste. and thanks for your sub.👍👍
You sure know your stuff. Great rig!
Nah man, still learning all the time! I try to keep an open mind to everything and see what the differences have to offer.
Thanks for putting a video out there great information I didn't know you could do that on that either😀
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Cool dude this is one great looking rig you got there
That thing looks so good
I like the cantilever best. great video brother.
It's definitely unique and my favorite setup. I've gone all-in and ordered the cantilever upgrades. Will post video when I get them in!
Good info. Like all the options.
Options are always good!
I like your Velcro body hold down set up 👍🏼
Thanks! 👍
Cool info and video buddy

I'm starting to take this truck more seriously and with some TRX-4 portals it'd be awesome
Now that might be an idea.....
Nice to have options. Cantilever certainly lets you get a flat bed on there :)
Definitely. Options are always good!
Nice job brother! I've been wondering how the "v" mount worked...still curious why they didn't include that as an optional step in the build manual.
Yeah, not sure why either. Took a lot of staring at the pictures on GMADE's site to figure it out.
I like how there are options the the rear shock set ups. How does it effect the rear roll stiffness?
Yes, having options are always good. The V setup is definitely stiffer with the stock springs and shocks. You'd need to get softer springs to soften it up. The traditional setup really depends on your shocks, springs and shock angle positioning same as most other trucks.
Thx! This helped me out☺️👍
Awesome! Glad it was useful!
Awesome rig..
looking good man.. 👍👍
Did you order any improvements?
I am waiting.
If you didn't, just let me do it.
I also want to watch a driving video.
Good look.
Yes, I have some already added, and the videos will be coming. I also have a few newer upgrades that they released on the way as well! Thanks for watching!
Does the third setup fit with the cage in the rear??
No it does not. To have that kind of setup with the cage, you'd probably have to use some shock keys off the frame rails and have the shocks angle forwards.
OK thank you that ist what i thought. But it is acting very well with the stock setup.....i have one too.
Totally super. Can't believe that guy was complaining about the rear setup. Fanboyish if you ask me.
I don't recall who was complaining (some other video?), but having multiple options for the rear is always great for uniqueness and tuning!

@@Warwick3511 Personally, I like it. One of the better implementations I've seen for a cantilever setup so far.
Yo Soze, thinking about picking one of these chassis kits up, going to run 4.19s, is it a decent platform?
Yes it's a decent platform. I mean it's pretty much very close to the SCX10.2, but with a different transmission, motor location, and prettier looking "RockJock" axles. Cool
hello good job friend🤩😍
Thank you 🤗
Do both setups articulate the same amount? And are the compressed and extended lengths of the axle travel the same?
The Cantilever setup has a bit more articulation but limits you to the 313mm wheelbase. The V setup is stiffer with the same springs/shocks, but also a little more stability with the ability to change wheelbase lengths. The Cantilever setup does improve with the swaybar added.
The third opion will not work , the cage would hit shocks when you close the body back down.
That option is for the chance that you use a different body or get rid of the cage.
