@@chelseakatie02 🌹 By all means eat the avocado fruit but use the pit or the skins to make a pretty pink water. If you're not a crafter you probably wouldn't have any reason to try it. 🙂
@@michellezevenaar no way to do that... you need chemical dye if you want it to stick permanently, but i guess for drapery or an ornamental thing it would still be ok, although the color will definitely change through time and probably develop a smell or worse, mould.
Can’t wait to try! I have a whole bag full of homegrown Avos. I was gonna save the pits to make tea but I love a good tie dye 🌈
I usually throw the pits away and just use the avocado rinds.
I love Drew and Danny Seo
My daughter loves avocado's and we go through so many! This will be a grest use for the seeds!
Ah I remember doing these in elementary school like a decade ago and enjoyed it from what I somewhat remember. Brings back memories
I do this for cotton yarn too! I use the skins too though
Does the color wash out or fade or is it permanent?
Aww I wish had seen this sooner, I bought avocadoes a couple of weeks ago
literally my fave color too
I wouldn't be able to buy avocado and not eat it lol, but I love dying clothes ❤️✨
You use the pit and skins to dye :)

@@paperpuddles I've done this several times before 😘😇😊💗
Would Hass Avocados 🥑 do as well?
Any type of avocado will work.
@@paperpuddles 😊 Thanks!

Drew & Danny; good!
YT editor; bad.
this type of "dye" is actually a stain, washing the garment will most definitely get rid of it.
Soo how to you make it a permanent stain? I know that many normal dyes need salt to set, would some similar work?

@@a.a.s.3799 this is NOT true. It sticks to 100% cotton
@@chelseakatie02 literally do your research and get back to me with an excuse.
