- You can use avocado skins and seeds to dye fabric, and in this video I show you how to do it. It might surprise you that avocados don't create a green dye! That's pretty cool.
In this video I took a white t-shirt and dyed it using avocado skins. I also got dyed a cotton bag.

Fun DIY video. Better to not use new shirts as they often have stain resistant chemicals on them, like a coating. After they are washed several times, this coating wears off. Also, with spiral design, try to make the spiral into more of a pancake shape and then use chopsticks in pairs held together on both ends with rubber bands. Place them in pie shapes across the center and like you learned, not too tight. If the colors are strong enough, you can put different colors in different sections of the pie.
Ah your hair!! Those pieces in front omg!! I love seeing it like this 😍
Thank you! I’m loving it too ☺️
Love everything about this, from crafty DIY (gotta try it out) to your fab hairstyle!
Svetlana, you’re always too kind! (But I absolutely have to see your results if you try this!!)

This is a super fun idea!
I think I will try and dye white cloth
I can go to Wal-Mart and get that. Also 4 to 6 avocado from Wal-Mart too. Would you gave me about the same direction you use to dye the cloth. Please.
hey scot I have a question what happens if your avocado see starts to go bad but the tree is fine ??😓
does the fabric have to be 100% cotton?
You can - it needs to be >50% natural and it may not be as vibrant as 100% natural fibres.
Good luck!
