Hello 👋 Dougo
Great video Amy
RIP 🌹🌹🌹🌹
Great update. Much respect to you and your great hard working family. God bless the Larsons.
Oh Amy, I hear you too clearly. I was self employed for years and started slowing down. Took a job and messed up my neck. That created lots of trouble. Vertigo to the floor is no fun. That was worse than the pain. Our house of 32 years, we had to get rid of it. The down size, declutter OH BOY!!!. Finally got to where we are now in a senior building and doing OK. We see so many family and friends that hang on till the last finger nail breaks. No body said getting old was fun, but only the tough get there. I hope you find the piece you are searching for, it is the only way. Bless you.
Hello Amy, first off, I want to say I find you a very concrete staple of the Larson family based on all the videos from Chet and his life. You and Doug with no doubt have done a more than exceptional job in raising and instilling true honest family values of what is true in life for the future goodness. Many hats off to you. Secondly, if there were more moms out there like you, this world would be a much better place. The Larson family is a stellar example of what a family should be.
Exactly, I am having the same problem with 65 years of memories my parents held onto everything. When they went through depression and had nothing..they held onto everything.
Yes! Ms. Amy! We just have to worry about ourselves unless someone asks for help. Sending Blessings to you and your family.
Absolutely The King of Kings is in control!
I can only imagine the effort it takes to keep Dougo on the straight and narrow while he's "resting."
Truth!
I am glad to get to know you! Dougo, need to take it easy!
Doug is so lucky to have you! Thanks for letting us into your life! You are awesome and the person that keeps the "Crew" Together. Everything revolves around you!
I don’t know about that, but thank you.
The first hour of my day is dedicated to the lord. It helps so much. Everybody needs to repent and find Jesus. He is coming back
Take care Amy clearing my parents house was hard. I still have to make myself find time for scripture study. You’re not alone in this big world that is a mess. But in Christ we can and find peace.
Amy your task can be daunting , had one for a family member called a tag sale, they come in organize, price, advertise and take a percentage. Everything moved except nick knacks and glassware. However disposal of the left overs is on the owners. good luck and take a deep breath and relax.
Amy thanks for the update on yard sales etc!! Sometimes we can't control things in our lives but you are doing excellent with your family!! Keep an eye out for Douglas and especially the Big Swed, Brody and Chet!! Haha only kidding!! Your family and friends fellow coworkers feed America 🇺🇸 All of you are very blessed!! God bless us All. Happy Easter to you and family and friends!! From Ne Ms T Ellis
Thank you for your openness.
I myself if I don’t do my morning time with My Lord things don’t go well all day long. It just gives myself so much peace to face the day. God Bless Your Family. Your family has had a lot to have Heavy Hearts about.
A Great Day is Ahead For All Mankind. Farmers always face highs and low feelings. Sometimes in the same day.
To me when I’m at my lowest it seams that I get to see the most Beautiful Amazing Sunrise or Sunset that makes me Realize That Our Lord And Savior Is With Us Always.
God Bless 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you. ☺️
Amy, we did an estate sale for my mother and mother in law where we left items in the house and tagged prices on them. The 1st day was full price and 2nd day 25% off and if you wanted to go a 3rd day, go 50% off. We did very well with both sales. What we didn't sale, went to Goodwill or Salvation Army. God is good!
Good idea!
Thank you for sharing. Praise and worship, spending time with our Lord is so important. He reminds us of the important things and to take on His yoke which is light. Blessings
Very good to hear talking bout God, and the Savior. I pray for the RUclips folks that i watch, that they will use the platform to perpetuate the gospel. Great simple video
Glad Doug got his knee surgery done, heel quickly. Yes God is great always keep him close to your heart.
Totally agree with you, Amy. Stay in His love and peace, and all else will follow. Keep up the good work!
Thank you Amy . Your an inspiration. You take care . Doug is a good man asis your son , Chet . Stay safe and take care .
Besides praising a person should also be grateful for the big things or the little things. Write down what you are grateful for and date that slip of paper each and every day. Be grateful that your husband, Doug, is doing well after knee surgery. That pain is hard to control, I have had three knee surgeries, and it can be rough. I will put in my prayers that God gives you the strength.
Thanks hang in there. Keep your age in mind! I thought i could do the same as i was 40. But also society has changed. And we are sometimes hanging to much in the old days. I pray ever Day for strenghts. Stay tall. Till next time.
Beautiful lady 🌹🏴
Thanks for being your township clerk. I’ve been a supervisor for 24 years. You have a much harder job!
I Had total knee replacement in December. Fully recovered and couldn’t be better! Hope Dougo recovers as well as I did.
Take care of you!
Thank you for a great video. And nice to hear you say Douglas.
I could tell you some thing's that the Lord has done in my life, but i would have to write or email you, because it is long, and i would be censored by the tube. The miracles, the mercy and grace are so powerful. I know about anxiety, and how the Lord changed me. At 52, i have been through so much, but the Lord has always been by my side. G-d bless, and glory to Christ our Saviour.
I just had shoulder surgery on March 16th. So I’ve been laid up. It’s amazing how God can get your attention. You get so busy in life, too busy to look up. He can make you look up by putting you on your back! Prayers for Doug’s recovery and your anxiousness. He never gives us more than we can bare.
Thank you for verbalizing an emotion that a large number of us feel. As we get older, the realization that what is important to us may not be appreciated by our offspring. My house is full of wonderful handcrafted furniture built by our families, children don't want them.
So, we decided to keep them and their memories, enjoy them, and let the children dispose of them when we no longer can appreciate them. We worked hard to accumulate and love the items, so when the time comes. . . . the children can have a clear conscious as they decide what is special to them, not us. In the meantime, we live well with what is comfortable to us. You and Doug have worked hard, so clear the uneasiness out of your mind, give it to GOD, and enjoy life wih Doug and the family. LEW
You are spot on. My wife died in January none of the 3 kids want any of her stuff. They are all grown with their own families and said just what you are saying. I'm from Wisconsin.
Get rid of your treasures now... so your kids will have less stress to deal with when your gone. Or it can be hauled to the dump later. Sell or give to a charity so someone can get some use. Don't be so materialistic... donate!
Thank you for sharing the 40% auction item statistic. That actually helps for what we're doing with a family member. And I sit here looking at my fancy cabinet thinking that the next generation will have the same feeling toward its contents as I do. Not. A. Chance. And I love 'unedited Amy'
IT depends on your area. Mine everything is sold and good money .
How they do it around here is: They have rummage sale . They leave they house as is it put a price tag on it. I've been to a few worked for me.
We moved 2 years ago into a red barn i fixed up. My wifes mom moved in with us. Mom has 53 years in one house and 35 years at our house. The barn is on 10 acres my daughter owns. So the barn has very little storage. We have 53 years of moms stuff, 35 years of our stuff, and 10 years of my daughters stuff. So with 98 years of stuff. Overwhelmed is a good word. We bought a barn just to store part of our stuff in. Just keep workn at it and before you know it......One last thing, you will have to throw away stuff you thought you never would. Just remember...they are matetial things......i know my wife says its harder than that to throw keepsakes away. Good Luck
It’s a non-stop process indeed. All of our stuff, uff da
Chin up kiddo. You are a breath of fresh air
I like that, she calls him Douglas. Hopefully he heals
Amy! I met you at Farmfest last summer with the Larson Farms meet n greet. You were the sweetest kindest person! I immediately realized you are genuine and have a big heart! I will pray for comfort and understanding for you. I wish you well with comforting thoughts to get you through these days. I too am a farmer's wife with lots going on in my world. Life can be SO CHALLENGING. I am with you. We both have a parallel universe of stress and decisions to conquer. Sending much love to you! ❤
Thank you Leann! ❤️
You are a very brave woman. Much respect for you.
Bless your heart. I'm in East Texas and estate sales and auctions are a big business in our area. God bless
Sorry.for your loss.
Thanks Amy. I loved your statement about not being the solution but the, let’s say “educator” lol. Blessings to you and your family
Great video Amy. Amen, He is Risen!
Take care Amy . I'm sure you are a
GREAT wife to Dougo. Don't worry
so much. Stress is NOT good for you. Sounds like a lot on your plate.
Take it one day at a time.
You and Dougo take care and stay warm. And congratulations to Chet
on his girlfriend. He deserves happiness 😊
You are such a blessing. Your reminder that giving thanks for quiet time to praise is what we need to focus on during times of anxiety. My go to Bible Verse Proverbs 3:5-6.
Hi Amy, I'm fairly new to Larson Farms RUclips Channel. Watching your most recent post I was motivated to offer a couple perspectives. First I had a full right knee replaced in 2015 and here is my thought to pass on top Doug. You spoke of the post op pain he's experienced. Been there, done that. That's certainly is not to diminish what he's going thru but as an encouragement that Doug will get thru this period. Next, make sure he gets to every PT session. I've heard physical therapist as call (by themselves) as pain technologists, they do fantastic work. All I can say is that a year later and I forgot that I had a 'new' knee. And for Chet: I to lost my dear wife (11 years ago) to BC . We are brothers in that regard and I pray for peace and comfort for you and all families and friends. And finally Amy to you, thank you for your testimony and the Lord Jesus Christ bless you.
A lot of families are having estate sales in our area. Good luck and cast your burdens on Him, he cares for you. Hugs ❤
I'm thrilled Mrs. Larson has her own channel. Now that I found it, I will not miss any new videos. Kind regards Ma'am.
Love your videos Amy god bless ur family u an dough did great job with the boys !
we love the Larsons in utah ty for the speech
Thanks for the video Amy! The art work on the wall by stone is great! Hot black asphalt and a brick wall ,yet just the slightest crack and a seed finds it way there to bring a beautiful yellow flower ! To a formidable place, much like life. 👋
Prayers for you & Dougo , Amy
Love Stones picture behind you. Amy I tell you what I was so overwhelmed when Eric had shingles on his face. His pulse and blood pressure was up a few days and him being a heart recipient just made it more stressful because wasn't sure what to worry about and not worry about. Just glad Eric is feeling better and is doing well almost 5 years post transplant.
I have hoarded fabric and craft supplies for 40 years. Then, at 62, I had a stroke which left me partially paralyzed. It has been humbling and very difficult to sit idle and watch my family and friends have to deal with my mess. So maybe it will motivate somebody to think about watching others deal with your stuff.❤
Amy, my siblings and I are going through the same thing you are. We’ve already filled two dumpsters and have a sale this weekend. At the same time I am downsizing. Keep at it. It’s just stuff!
Hope Dougo is well soon and will be looking forward to the next video!🙏
We are praying for Dougo and you as he recovers from his surgery.
Stay positive need quite time good luck
Girl - ty! ☮️💟 one day at a time…we got this!
Amy, you are much more encouraging than you probably realize. From your very first appearances in Chet's videos, you have been a portrayed - for good reason, I'm sure! - source of levity and balance in your busy extended household!
More importantly, your Anchor is solid and your testimony of the Lord's faithfulness does not go unnoticed- here or in His ears! Keep worshipping, sister!
Blessings to your whole crew for wisdom, safety, and strength as you all forge ahead!
Thank you Dean!
Amy , Dougo, Chet and your family are a blessing , we give God praise honor and glory for all the things God provides for us . PRAYING for you Dougo that your knee heals like new and we give God all the praise that he deserves. You know there is a lesson in all this stress Amy and God takes all our adversity and turns them into a learning experience . Hang in there Amy and Dougo let your knee heal , spring planting is upon us , prayers for the Larson family, Godbless !
Tell Doug to hang in there, I am a 60 year old dairy farmer from Wis. and had both of my knees replaced. One on October 25 of 22 and the other on January 31 of 23. I was back at work one month after each one. Good luck.
This is good news!!!
We Love YOu
Thank You, Amy. I really needed this today.
When the praises go up the blessings come down. We all fall short sometime but God's mercy endures forever so he will never leave or forsake you
We ended up giving most of our stuff to Habitat for Humanities. At least they will find good homes for the products. God Bless you all.
I so enjoy when you post a video. Calling Doug Douglas is such a loving tribute and fantastic respect!
Amy , I'm 64 and have kept a lot of things throughout my life that I thought that maybe my kids and grandkids would want after I'm gone . In the last few months I've figured out that they could care less about those things . So I've started selling , throwing away , giving away , etc. Those things , and you know what , it has taken a load off of this ol Pappys mind , plus I don't get fussed at by my beautiful wife either lol 😂 !!! I have loved keeping up with your family over the years over on Chets channel . I haven't missed a video in years , and RUclips is the only way that I keep up with y'all . I say this because I don't think Chet has formally introduced his new lady friend to us yet , do you think that maybe his sweet mother could get him to introduce her ? Thank you Miss Amy 🙏❤️🇺🇸🚜
Chet your mum is ace 👌 she needs to be on here more
Great hearing you today! You seem to have reached some kind of conclusion to bring more peace to those non useful thoughts we all have. Now the big step is making the time to consistently practice the calm bringing things every day. (I know that was an awkward sentence!) I am glad that you can help people with the decluttering of their lives but of course you have come to that big truth; it will only happen if they make it happen. I find if I am practicing thankfulness every day I don’t get so stressed about what is not going well. There are lessons to be learned even in that. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. I look forward to seeing more.
I am thankful for you Amy, and all your videos. I hope that your anxiety is better, sending prayers to you and Doug❤
Thank you again for the video. Sometimes we really need to decompress from the anxiety of day-to-day living. It took me two rides in ambulances from my work to emergency rooms to realize that anxiety can manifest itself in truly physical ways. I enjoy your videos but don't feel obligated to put one out if you have other things that are taking your time; and it seems like you are one of those people we all love who are always first to step in and give others of your time...
You put alot of pressure on yourself...calm down and know that Jesus is Lord and everything will be ok. John 14:6 is the only way to live. God bless you Amy keep up the good work. Love from Cherokee Iowa.
Thanks for that, you are right on with that one.
Great to see a New vid up!!
Frank from Alberta PS I have my Grandmothers 16 Place setting China set !
I like your message It was really good
Amy, When my mother passed we split wanted things amongst the family. Then with what was left we called Goodwill and they sent a truck and picked up 3 loads. It was the smartest thing. Our pastor suggested it would be the best and it was.
I didn’t know Goodwill sent trucks! Cool!
You are correct..no one wants someone treasures. Have an estate sale and get rid of the "stuff" your family will appreciate you after your gone. Had to pay a guy to haul away THREE dump trucks loads of "treasures " after my mom and dad passed.
Oh my!
Are family went through the same issue. We called both the salvation army and good will plus homeless shelter.
After all that we called a rubbish company to take away what was left.
God bless you and your family.
Amen, good to see you again,.
Very nice video
Welcome back Amy! 👍👍✌️❤️🇺🇸👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾👨🌾🙏🙏🙏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😘😘
Hi Amy. I stumbled upon your channel awhile back when RUclips recommended it because I am subscribed to Larson Farms. I really appreciate your insights, and I especially am glad that you are Christians saved and born again by having received Jesus as savior by faith. I struggle with a lot of the same issues as you and so your insights help me a lot. Thank you.
Hello from Siesta Key Florida
Take the time to write your feelings down to unclutter your mind and emotions. You are never alone when you have paper and pen. Articulating your deepest held emotions that get steamrolled over by life is a must to settle what may seem to be out of control for you. Sometimes a friend is not around at the moment you feel the need to talk but a paper and pen are able to sort out the moment's seemed confusion. Our emotional plates are only so big and dealing with them before your plate becomes out of order is necessary. Never hurt alone.
Thank you for that Amy. I didn’t know that about auctions. Times and people have changed. We all have our battles. We certainly all need Jesus because He will carry us through. Thanks fo the encouragement. 👍❤️🙏
I cleaned out my m-i-law's house years ago. And in the process of decluttering my house. I love giving to the Mennonite place where they sale and use the proceeds to help others in all countries. Makes a person feel good that at least it goes to a good cause.
Time with the Lord in Prayer will help with the anxiety! Praying for Dougo!!
We have them all over here in Michigan.
Bonjour hello Amy from Montréal Canada 🇨🇦

My wife and I enjoy your videos keep ‘‘em coming
May God bless you and your family!
You are an awesome Lady
Thank you for the video. Yes auctions are a waist of time. I dealt with my parents, brother, son and sister homes/estate at different times in my life. Here is an ideal. Set aside one weekend, Friday to Sunday. Have a estate garage sale. Post it all over your face book, paper ad's or letting your church know, etc. Advertise and say some are antiques or and vintage. Price it low so it will go. What ever is left over, find a place that you can donate the rest of the stuff. Some second hand store business will even come and get the stuff. I kept everything in the house that I was dealing with so I didn't have to move it twice. Price tag it all. Put many things in a box to sale as all. Like odds and ends dishes, pots pans with sheet pans, tools, etc. All clothes went to a second hand store or donated them to anyone who takes them to give to people in need. Put a sign up that you will accept " Sale items market but will take OBO- or best offer. " There is people out there that even will do this for a price to do all the work. Good luck, Amy. God Bless you. Hope this helped.
Thanks and just stumbled on your channel!!! I’m here now!!!!! Going to back track and catch up!!!!! May your channel grow!
I don't know what it is like there but in Missouri there are a lot of antique and thrift stores. That is a good place to sale things. You can sale the people that have booths in them your things and let them sale the glass and things.
Nice. #!!! 😊😊😊
I just went through this, still going through it. I had an estate sale for two days, had an indoor online/indoor garage sale. Very depressing. This was an 87 yr old that lived in her home and had her Mothers stuff....there was alot of stuff. Now I am getting ready to sale her house...that is a whole another issue..good luck, wish youthe best...really enjoy your watching Larson Farms❤😊
put everything in Gods hands.
We did an auction in Ortonville in 83 after my Om passed. It was a flop. Gave the stuff away. Just haul it to Goodwill or Salvation Army.💞🙏🌵🤠 Former Correll farm wife. ❤️ From AZ
Stay strong...Hydro therapy and PT for Dougo:)
We emptied a house full of stuff and donated it to a shelter that helped people get on their feet and when they got their own place would help them furnish it from their thrift store. I bet there is something like that in the city that would gladly take the furniture and dishes and maybe even send a truck for it all.
Good Old Dougo
