When I was alive, I was Noel Gruber who worked at Taco Bell in Uranium City, Seskatchuan. In my dreams, I played a different role. I was Monique Chabbeau, in post-war France!
@@lu.sidious Nono, in his dreams he was Whizzer Brown in the AIDS epidemic (or whatever he had idk its been a while). Omg even whizzer's death was sort of what Noel wanted
I think What More Cam I say is the perfect point to end for a happy ending. That way you get Everyone Hates His Parents, which finishes Mendel’s character development and solidifies his and Jason’s relationship which is my favorite of the whole show, and What More can I say is the perfect demonstration that Marvin has actually changed for the better and for the first time in the show is truly content. And they all lived happily ever after, nothing bad was happening 😁😁😁
I think that line and the I'd like to believe that I'd do it again and again and again are the two moments that show just how incredible of an actor Christian is, like- When I listen to this song I only sometimes cry because of the little shake in his voice, but when I watch it I ALWAYS cry cause the expressions are too heart breaking
My friend: How is falsettos your favorite musical when you're straight? Me: The real question is, how am I straight when my favorite musical is falsettos but to answer your question, its a masterpiece
See i can never tell if it’s Marvin (in character) saying “they’re so hard to take off” or if it’s Christian (out of character) saying “it’s so hard to sing up” ??? 😭
11:40 i was doing something in another tab partially covering this one. i thought it wouldn't be super important until i read "something about this part made me bust" and had to double check that isn't what you meant
i want to make these falsettos edits but i dont know how, what are some good editing programs? and do i have to download the entire musical? i'd imagine so but i dont know if my phone can handle that so should i do it on my laptop? what editing programs would be able to handle such a big download? thanks everyone!
really? i've only ever seen him speak highly of the show and the cast as well as marvin's overall journey. what gives you the impression he hated the role?
@endofthewtr I don't even personally remember anymore cause I fell out of this Era like late September.. (This sounds insane but so was I at the time) I think it was just Marvin's personality that had me like, "This dude hates this role.." I don't think I fully understood the show either so idk 😭
@@g0d.loves.y0uI think it’s more he hated the character maybe rather more than he hated being in the role. Marvin’s just generally a jackass in act one to be fair
imagine going to see falsettos with the person you like and he just points right at y'all and is like "homosexuals"
you joke but i saw toursettos and he pointed at me it was SO funny i cheered (i was with my mom tho so she didnt exactly uh. cheer as loudly as me)
Me when I’m actually homosexual 😳
I mean he wouldn’t be wrong
@@scout4363same with me lol
Would he wrong? No..I think..yes?..no.
Marvin and Whizzer is like what Noel Gruber wanted but less violence and more fighting
LITERALLY 😭

YES
I LITERALLY WAS JUST THINKING THAT 😭 ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS MAKE OUT FOR IT TO BE THE SAME
I just pretend that everything that happens after "A Day in Falsettoland" doesn't exist for my own mental health

@@gingeedome9812 that's what i meant. i forgot that those two songs don't contain the sad bois XD
The "good men get better with age/we're just gonna skip that stage" was what finally killed me dear god
when i tell you that i had been holding it together until THAT LINE.
It makes me cry every time

for me the line the breaks me is “the only one my child would allow”
"we're just gonna skip that stage" NOW WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT

I just found out this Musical existed a few days ago and I WAS NOT EXPECTING THE LAST 30 MINUTES OF IT. It's so good I need to watch it again!!
