  • As you are building a collection of knives and hatchets, you may have stumbled upon a Kukri and wondered if it is good. I have owned my KA-BAR Kukri Machete for over 6 years now and it has never let me down. I review what I like about this Kukri. It also makes a great groomsman gift (or any gift) for a guy. They most likely don't own one and it is unique. Let me know your thoughts about my review and if you have any questions.

It's like I told my buddy, it's a multi tool and doesn't do any particular thing really well but does a lot of different things well enough. Besides, you're in the woods and it is getting dark and all you have is a hatchet or your kukri... I'll take the Kukri.

You have obviously never heard of "the triangle of death". If you cut the arteries in your legs you can bleed to death in minutes. Also, never hold the stick you are about to baton and chop down with the kukri!

Totally with you. Watching someone chopping wood between their femoral arteries is real Darwin Award material.
