Had to watch this AGAIN. Thanks for the upload. One "thumbs down"? No thrash band has a live sound that is so close to the studio version... If you love TRUE thrash metal, there is no way you can really give this a down vote. This is as good as thrash metal gets.

I've seen Kreator in person and recordings of their live shows too many times to count (I watched this 3 times). This show stands out among the rest simply because of their setlist, which, in my opinion, was truly AWESOME. I will say that it did sadden me a bit because I love the way Kreator has ended their shows for so long with the Flag of Hate/Tormentor goodbye. However, the change was still great. Everyone has always loved "Betrayer" so much (I like EVERY Kreator song, but "Betrayer" is in the bottom 3rd when it comes to my Kreator favorites), and being that Betrayer is from the 1980's and is still loved by so many of their fans, I guess it is a change I can handle. The Flag of Hate/Tormentor ending was just a signature staple for so many years that even though I have seen that ending hundreds of times.... I STILL look forward to Mille waving the Flag of Hate and screaming like no other German since Hitler (well, Hitler was actually Austrian) while trying to get the crowd amped up for the band's final 2 songs. Kreator has been my favorite band since the 1980's and here in the US, most of us didn't even get the chance to hear them until "Betrayer" was released on the Extreme Aggression album in 1989. After that album, we Americans realized that the Germans with Kreator and Sodom were as good or better than what the Americans had done thus far in the thrash metal realm. People that were hearing Kreator for the first time with the release of Extreme Aggression were quickly running out to record and tape stores to buy Kreator from before 1989 (it was very hard to find back then... I had it, of course). Now...with Kreator still releasing great work, along with the decline, musically, of Slayer, the Germans can't be beaten. German thrash rules... Kreator leads the way... And Kreator's live show (especially the sound) kills any other band's live shows. Sorry Slayer fans... Kreator is the best and ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. Like my username says: Mille Is God!!!
On this tour they end with Flag of Hate + Under the Guillotine.. it was badass

+Arturo Martínez (Zombieprogdeath) Maybe the best setlist I have ever seen. Every time I have seen Kreator their shows have been just 1 hour long which makes it where you miss out on a lot of great songs (I have yet to find a Kreator song that I don't like, though). I saw them about a year before you did here in Florida on their Extreme Aggression tour and I felt like they didn't play enough songs...now they have released 13 albums not including their EP's. When you have 13 studio albums, you can play just one song from each release and have a full set. They have stood the test of time and keep getting better, especially live.
A full course meal to chomp on for Teutonic Thrash Metal fans...dessert included! #respect

+Stephane Aub Wow!!! You must have been in Europe, you lucky bastard. They played just a handful of shows in 1990 on that tour which had my friend's band opening for them. Kreator is my favorite band and I first met Chuck when I was a kid (Chuck was 6 years older than me, but opened my eyes to the entire thrash/death metal scene as central Florida is where death metal has its roots). I've seen Kreator more than a few times and got to see Death 15 times before Chuck died (R.I.P.). I wish I would have gotten to see Kreator and Death in the same show... like I said, you are a lucky bastard. BUT... Kreator is the best thrash metal band in history. They helped pioneer black metal and death metal by being the best and most brutal THRASH metal band. They are much more than JUST a GOOD band. They are THE band when it comes to metal.
+MilleIsGod Oct 29, 1990 DEATH / KREATOR concert at ApocalypseToulouse, France torture over Europe tour 90 . I saw Sepultura, Sacred Reich and Heathen concert at St Loup Cammas (!!!) May 25 1991, and June 2, 1990 DEATH ANGEL / VICIOUS RUMOURS less than 50 persons in the concert hall but a great show, but too bad i never saw Coroner my favorite band . A quarter century now....lucky bastard maybe, but certainly old.
+Stephane Aub I got to see Coroner when they opened for Kreator in 1989. It is funny...when I come here to RUclips, I feel VERY old because 42 is old when you speak of fans of these kinds of metal. Bands know their "target" audience is mainly teenage boys and fans of our "age" are very rare. Since I grew up in the Orlando FL area during the rise of death metal and Chuck and Death were from the Orlando area, I have been lucky enough to see most major metal bands of the era. I once saw Death on the night before my first day as a high school senior. I showed up in my "Spiritual Healing" t-shirt on the first day of school. I never missed a show that came to our area and back then we had one nice venue (Beacham Theater) and sometimes I would go to bars that had occupancy for 150 people or less to see bands. I've seen almost every band from that mid '80's to early '90's era and it seemed as I was going to a show weekly. I never got to see Heathen or Vicious Rumours but I saw all of the other bands you mentioned multiple times except Coroner, who I got to see just that one time. I saw Kreator and Coroner on Oct 15, 1989....almost a year to the day before you saw Kreator and Death. We are old! How do we even remember this shit? Death Angel is one of the best live acts I ever saw and I got to see them a few times. Hope you enjoyed that one. Plus you got to see Sepultura when they were in their prime (did you notice the vocalist/rhythm guitarist, Max, played with just 4 strings on his guitar?). Since he didn't play leads, he needed just 4 strings, so when I saw them, he had just a 4 string guitar. Oh well... I'm old but it is still cool to talk about. Those days were the best days of my life. I knew a lot of people so I got to meet most bands I saw...Coroner included!!! Sorry 'bout that. Take care.
+MilleIsGod in my opinion the golden age of metal. I don't remember if Max Cavalera played only on 4
strings, but i had Igor Cavalera drumstick (still at home, somewhere). spiritual Healing was a great album cover, one of my favourites with somewhere in time, orgasmatron, no place for disgrace and peace sells. 45, here, escaped from jurassic park for a young , but i think a Jethro tull or Grateful dead fan can be older than us...
We should have been friends as kids. We would have had some fun. I once had a copy of Sodom's Agent Orange signed by Tom that got ruined (along with all of my Death memorabilia in a flood due to a pipe breaking in my storage room... so I became a plumber).
